Expecting Festive Ludi to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. FESTIVE LUDI (6) was safely held in better company two runs back then appreciated the easier grade last time, scoring over 1200m at this track. Found winning form back at the right level last start and looks hard to beat. NICHIRIN (12) has been in the market at her last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing sixth over 1600m at this track. Rates highly in this line up. Gets her chance. B B BASILIS (3) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish seventh over 1200m at this track. Has ability and a bold showing is expected. S K EAGLE (14) performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1200m. In the mix.
