GOING: G(4)

SCONE RSL BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1000m

Track: Good 4   Clouds (Max: 25)   Rail: +5m 800m-400m, True Remainder Cutaway Applies . (Pent: 4.90)

Hot pace certain with Sunday Bell, Play My Song and Chandon Star keen to take up the running. PLAY MY SONG (3) tough mare holding her form this prep and will relish the 3kg claim again. Came out fast from the awkward draw when a dominant winner over 1000m at Muswellbrook. This is not that much stronger and sure to go close again. SARATOGA POWER (1) progressive gelding who returns from a five-month spell. Stepped up in class and far from disgraced when a sound fifth over 1000m at Randwick in Highway class on September 21. Back with the one soft trial and gets his chance from the draw. GUSTAV (9) scored a gritty win first-up in the heavy conditions, before fading badly in similar going when seventh over 1450m at Muswellbrook. Kept fresh and go on his first-up win when assessing his prospects. SHE'S A BAD GIRL (13) has two placings from four runs this preparation. Drops in journey here, rates an each-way hope. SUGGESTED PLAY: Play My Song to win again.
