Strong pace from Crepescule and Durham Legacy matching motors with Kermandie River close at hand. HEAVENLY KISS (4) disappointed last time as favourite but was a sharp winner on the Riverside track when resuming. Kept fresh with 32 days between runs and looks set to bounce back strongly third-up. KERMANDIE RIVER (2) returns off a lengthy 435-day break but showed good ability in his debut prep and has trialled well in readiness. May need the run but is worth keeping safe. DURHAM LEGACY (10) has returned in good order this campaign and should be hitting his straps now fourth-up. Proven versatile with his speed and deserves his chance. CHRISTMAS STAR (7) was doing her best work late when resuming at Queanbeyan. Strips fitter and should settle closer. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Heavenly Kiss to win.
