Solid tempo from Romero, Kentucky Blue and Chino La Diva battling for the lead in a high-pressure contest. CHINO LA DIVA (1) improved sharply on her defeat at Ascot, leading and winning a 44 by 2.7L over 1200m at Bunbury. Has a handy 2kg claim and will skip across and ride the speed. Will take plenty of stopping. CHEEKY CHARLOTTE (5) came home solidly here first-up when beaten 2L in a CL5. She's come back improved and has won second-up. Keeps the handy 3kg claim but will need things to go her way from the outside barrier. SPIRIT MAN (7) got closer in a 58 and then stalked the lead winning a CL3. He's been kept on the fresh side and a repeat effort can't be ruled out. SURE NO SOMETHING (3) maps to advantage and will be sharper second-up. His best form would see him in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chino La Diva to win.
