Masuda stays aboard and she should get the right pace to launch late. Go close. WHISKEY MISS (4) has impressed at all three runs this campaign and gets map favours today with the blinkers coming off. Snagged back from the draw before powering late with a solid fourth over 1420m at Grafton. Will race closer here and prove hard to hold out. THUNDEROUS (11) drops in trip and was a month between runs when a tiring fifth over 1526m at Lismore. Kept fresh again in this easier contest. MONARCH EXPRESS (1) handled the rise in grade and trip with ease when an eye-catching third over 1415m at this track. Gets a more genuine tempo here and stays in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gold Puma and Whiskey Miss can fight it out.
