Tricky to map. JOYNER (4) is a local on debut and owns a big Canberra trial win. Looks the goods and finds a winnable assignment. Just needs to bring the form to race day. KEWELL (1) was in the market at Hawkesbury first-up but didn't get into it (vet cleared). Three back he missed a whisker at Kembla Grange on a heavy track and an equal favourite. Gets conditions to suit and quick improvement is anticipated. BABY DAISY (10) is hard-fit and has been racing well without winning. Went close at Bathurst last time on the slow. APIC RUN (2) debuts and has been well trialled Has a handy gate and Penza's booking interests. Keeping him onside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kewell each way with the race fitness and experience.
