Anticipating a stack of early pressure over the sprint course with many of these at the races for the first time. The Chris Waller-trained VALETUDO (12) made her Australian debut last start over 1200m at The Heath and did well to hold on for second after leading for the judge. Looks to have settled in well after crossing from the UK and she can improve enough to take this out. SILENT ALERT (7) is back from an 18-week spell. Only raced once last prep and finished third over this trip at Wangaratta. In the mix with a similar performance today. SOUND OF JURA (8) is a Nicconi debutant for the Hayes stable. Went well in a recent Bendigo trial so warrants close attention. HOFF IS ENUFF (1) on debut for the Keys stable is interesting. Nothing of note seen at the jump-outs but comes up as second pick in early markets which must be respected. CAMERON FALLS (14) was well held on debut last start but should improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Confident win bet on Valetudo.
