Expecting plenty of speed from Adarmalik, Presto Emery and Southern Brave from Pod Buddy. SOUTHERN BRAVE (6) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of five months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1400m at Kanazawa. Well placed and happy to have him on top. SMILE PLUS (9) finished seventh over 1400m at Morioka Dirt at her most recent appearance on September 2. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Nobuhiro Yamada. Should be hard to stop. POD BUDDY (10) did a good job last start to finish second at this track over 1200m, beaten 1.5 lengths. Drawn out but going well enough to play a role. HO O HANABI (2) produced another moderate effort last start when 9 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1500m at Urawa. Has her share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
