REBAKE FULL CITY (4) was below his best last time when eighth over 2600m at this track after a win here over this trip two back. Good enough on his day and deserves another chance. EXCESS RETURN (5) last appeared seven-and-a-half weeks ago over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt when he finished 11th. This is his first run for the Hidemitsu Sakai stable. Can make his presence felt in this suitable race. GET UP (9) finished 15th over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt at his most recent appearance on December 15. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Hiroyuki Matsuura. Must be respected.
