Fast tempo assured with Edono Phoenix, Ryuno Fowler and Gold Judge going toe-to-toe. STRIKE ON (12) was a strong winner last time when scoring by 3 lengths at Funabashi. Another win is on the cards. RYUNO FOWLER (1) was prominent at the corner and finished third last start at this track over this distance. Has found the frame in all three starts at this journey, including two wins. Drawn to go forward. Sure to be in the finish. EDONO PHOENIX (6) is a distance specialist who improved last start to finish second over 1200m here. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. SHARK SPOT (8) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 1200m at this track. Likely improver who should be thereabouts.
