ROCKTEX (5) flew home to miss narrowly first-up before tackling a 1300m at Pinjarra just 6 days ago, missing out by 0.5L in a good performance. On the quick turnaround here, but he rates highly on the latest effort. Should get every chance. AXOPAR (6) draws the inside today after a 1.9L defeat at Pinjarra last start. Fiore rides now as she's building into the campaign nicely. She can play a leading role. KEGS AND LEGS (3) finds a suitable race for his debut. Can feature. Keen tempo with Snip Of Romance and Great Promise prominent. SOMETHING ROYAL (3) won well two back before a 0.4L defeat last time out at Bunbury when the race favourite. Now draws a much better barrier for Pike who remains on board. Should sit much closer this time around and a return to winning ways is on the cards. GREAT PROMISE (2) is racing in good order without winning, finishing 1.3L off the winner last time out at Northam to continue her good run of recent form. The form around her has been solid and she should be prominent from the outset. Can go one better this time. SNIP OF ROMANCE (5) led them up last time out and got the job done at this track and trip, winning by 0.9L. He's another that can be up front from the outset and Riordan's claim sees him get in with no weight on his back. EARTH GOD (1) has trialled nicely coming into this and won't be far away with the winkers back on. BLUE CAN TALK (6) won't be far away on the fresh side. SUGGESTED PLAY: Something Royal can get back to winning form. |

Cracking tempo with Zali's Gift and Admire Belle leading the way. HOT CHIX LANE (4) got back from the wide draw fresh but closed well when only 1.2L off the winner. Out in trip is a big tick today and she's laid a good foundation to build on this campaign. Can raise the bar now and knock over her maiden. JEMCONI (5) was sound in her debut campaign but looks to have gone to another level this campaign judging by her latest trial. Pike hopping board for her return effort is a positive sign and she maps to get every chance from the draw. Ticks plenty of boxes and appears the main danger. ZALI'S GIFT (3) is another first-up runner today with some nice trials under her belt. She's 0/11, but Fiore sticks from the trials and she was trending the right way last time in. Can make an impression. SPLENDIDA (10) can feature in the finish on debut. NEUBRONNER (7) was good from the back on debut at a big price and is worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hot Chix Lane can get the job done. |

Strong tempo expected with Call Me Invincible, Champagne Talks and Mr Universe prominent. TRULY LOYAL (4) got back on debut but ran good splits when beaten as a $1.85 favourite on debut. He's trialled well coming in again this time and Pike rides from a better draw. The form out of his debut run worked out well and he can make a statement on his return. BIFF BAM BOOM (12) has shown enough at the trials to suggest he can run a bold race here. Pike was on board for his latest trial and opts to ride Truly Loyal, though his latest outing was very impressive. Can show what he's capable of on debut. SWEET ISSY (7) was solid first-up from well back and turned in a solid figure there. Should be better for that effort and won't be far away. PLAYA DEL SOL (6) won a trial coming into this but couldn't go with them first-up when fading out of contention. Should be better for that effort and a forward showing is on the cards. CALL ME INVINCIBLE (1) won't be far away after a good effort here last week. SUGGESTED PLAY: Truly Loyal can return with a bang. |

A solid tempo is anticipated with Extronize and Tiger Tank kicking up to hold out the next wave. MARCOS (3) won impressively fresh before a 0.4L defeat last start when jumping a $1.65 favourite at Northam most recently. Chris Parnham hops on board today, with the gelding expecting to get back in the run from the wide draw. Third-up now and can get the job done. Strong early tempo with Rising Fame and South Hoba leading the way. COSMO RULER (4) got the job done as a $1.30 favourite two back before jumping favourite again last start when missing by 2.1L. She's been freshened since that effort and Pike hops back on board today. Drawn better this time and she looks the one to beat. SOUTH HOBA (6) gets the blinkers on for the first time today on resumption, with a recent trial win under her belt. She disappointed as favourite before the break but looks ready to bounce back this time in work. Can return on a positive note. ABISSI (2) was solid first-up off a long break, closing steadily to be 3.6L off the winner. Should be better for that effort and Tsang sticks with him. On the quick turnaround here and can play a leading role. COSMIC GEM (3) should be better over this trip today with the stable strike hoop McGruddy being booked. Can improve third-up. RISING FAME (9) draws the inside today and a forward showing is on the cards. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cosmo Ruler ticks plenty of boxes. |

RAINLINE (1) missed by 1L two back before winning at Kalgoorlie last time, scoring by 1L. Nottle hops back on board and her claim comes in handy and she looks to get every chance from the draw. Can play a leading role once again. JAZALOT (3) won in a photo two back and that form has stood up, as well as his last start effort at Pinjarra where he was beaten 1.3L. Recent form stacks right up and he can make his presence felt. DARK AVALANCHE (7) disappointed last time but was in good touch prior. Can bounce back to his best. They look to roll along early with Buderim and Back To Bondi leading the charge. BUDERIM (2) led last time out at Pinjarra and was too good, inching away to score by 1.3L. He steps out in trip for the first time, but he's improved a bunch this campaign and there's nothing to say the extra trip is a query. Can work across and dictate from the front. BACK TO BONDI (1) is on the quick turnaround after an impressive win here last time out, scoring as the race favourite on the quick turnaround. Can track Buderim across from the barrier and there may be more to come from him just yet. STREAK OF GOD (6) is better than he showed last time out when disappointing as the race favourite. He's better than that however and the winkers replace the blinkers. Pike sticks and he can improve. THE NUN (3) can improve on the fresh effort getting right out to this trip second-up. IMPRESSIVE JEWEL (4) should get every chance from the inside barrier. SUGGESTED PLAY: Buderim can repeat the dose. |
