Several here close to wins. BAI YULU (1) finished 3 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1400m at Scottsville after being in contention on the bend five-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance today. Has a high cruising speed. Best form puts her right in this. MADE TO MEASURE (2) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 1400m at this track. Proving a good combination with Richard Fourie with four straight placings. Should be hard to stop. BURNING DESIRE (3) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 1600m at Fairview, beaten only half a length. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. KIM KAY (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at Fairview, beaten 2 lengths. Looks to be in the right race so she should be in contention again. |

HAT MONTERA (2) returned from a spell a week-and-a-half ago when she was beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth over 2000m at this track. Wilmien Fourie is a key engagement. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. GINGER DELIGHT (1) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 7 lengths over 2000m at this track. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. ROYAL MISSY (3) wasn't far away last time out, finishing fifth over 1600m at this track after she was well back on straightening. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. One of the better hopes. FLIGHT DISPLAY (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2000m at Fairview, beaten 4 lengths into eighth. The engagement of Craig Zackey is a positive move. Nicely placed to find some form. |

Expected to be in the finish. BLACKBERRY BREEZE (3) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2.25 lengths over 1600m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Likely improver with strong prospects. SIXTYZERO (9) was not far away last time out, finishing fifth over 1600m at this track. Looks suited first time at this trip and is not to be underestimated. |

PRINCE FLORIAN (3) resumes in a similar race to his last run 12 weeks ago when third, beaten 5 lengths. Looks a strong top-three prospect. HOSPICES DE BEAUNE (6) missed the frame last time when fifth at this track. Prior to that had been in the money on two consecutive occasions. |

Nicely placed to take this out. EUGENIUS (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance. |

Suited at the longer journey and is a leading player. SABOTEUR (8) won at this track and distance at her last outing three-and-a-half months ago. Worth plenty of thought. LILAC SNOW (9) last appeared eight weeks ago over 1200m at Vaal when she finished seventh. This is her first run for the Sharon B Kotzen stable. Can make her presence felt. |
