RIKEA DIMBULA (5) doesn't win out of turn but was in the finish last time when beaten half a length into second over 1500m at this track. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Best form puts her right in this. ARGO FILHO (9) improved sharply on her fifth two starts back at Funabashi with success over 1500m at this track a month ago, getting home by a neck. Likely to be there at the finish again. NOBLE KAGURA (4) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished fourth last time out over 1500m at this track. TOP POWER (9) was well fancied last start over 1500m at this track when third. Has never been out of the money in five starts here, including a win. Bold showing expected. LOGI AND MORTAR (8) has put together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on June 3 over 1500m when he got home by one length. Winning rider Masaaki Ohata retains the mount. Finds a suitable race and can build on recent success. MARCHE (10) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1500m at this track. Will be handy in transit despite the tricky draw. Has his share of ability and finds a suitable race. I'LL FILER (6) brings the right form to this race after taking out a 1500m contest at this track last time out by half a length. Solid top-three hope. |

Beautifully placed and look for an improved run at this level. LUXE DREFONG (2) was safely held when fourth last time out over 1700m here after a win at this track at the previous outing. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to feature. ANTHEM BAROWS (10) was unwanted in betting last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten a head into second over 1700m at this track. One of the better hopes. |
