1 12:10 MITRE 10 MORUYA MAIDEN PLATE 1010m
Tricky one to map with a number of first starters but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. XTRASCENT (5) run down late from the wide gate on the Canberra Acton track two-back, then failed to handle the heavy conditions with a fading fourth over 1000m at Wagga. Comes here in peak condition and should prove too good for this lot. WON FOR VICKI (10) bumped into the handy Star Of Lily two-back, then a month between runs with a battling third over 1005m at the Sapphire Coast. Finds a weaker race and has solid top-three claims. ARGANTORATI (6) returns from a lengthy break after having mixed luck last prep. Back with the two trials and can surprise fresh. MANDY CANRUN (9) is a Prized Icon filly out of Metallic Spark on debut for the Kerry Parker yard. Won a recent Kembla Grange trial over 800m and gets her chance from the inside gate. Keep safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Xtrascent can get off the mark.
2 12:45 SWAN PLUMBING BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1010m
Solid tempo anticipated with Eagerly Awaits and Anthracia leading the way. DUBBO BOY (2) nice gelding who overcome the wide draw for a dominant victory over 1000m at Warren in the soft (7) going. Maps to get the gun run and can keep the winning momentum going with the tongue-tie going on. SELHURST PARK (8) races best with his runs spaced and has a good record on his home track. Up in class from the sticky gate when he chipped away late to finish seventh over 1205m at the Sapphire Coast in BM66 grade. Good run here two-back and can run a bold race. CHEMTRAIL (1) capable Highway horse who can return to winning form second-up. Showed good early speed from the outside draw before tiring to run twelfth over 1100m at Randwick in Highway class. Proven second-up and ticks plenty of boxes today. EAGERLY AWAITS (5) in need of the run first-up when eighth over 1000m at Wyon. Blinkers go on and has placed second up.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,8,1.
3 01:20 HIP POCKET BATEMANS BAY MAIDEN HANDICAP 1200m
Reasonable tempo with Mr Peasant probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. GLENN'S LEGACY (5) finally drawn a decent gate third-up and can put these away at his seventh race start. Covered plenty of ground to sit on the pace before tiring in the straight to run seventh over 1200m at Warren. This looks a nice race from the inside marble. PARIAH TIME (2) lightly raced Pariah gelding resuming. Showed potential in his two runs at this course last prep and fitted with a trial placing over 800m at Kembla Grange. Has options from the gate and stays in the mix. YES ARNIE (10) comes here deep into the campaign and drops in trip from a sticky gate. Will find this more to his liking and can take a hand in the finish. SPRING BLOSSOM (9) three-year-old filly by Flying Artie from First Blossom on debut for the Karakatsanis yard. Trials have been ordinary but can lift under race conditions.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Glenn's Legacy looks to find a winnable contest.
4 01:55 EDWARDS CONSTRUCTIONS COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN PLATE 1425m
Passing Through to set a strong tempo joined by Tsarina Diamonds pressing on from an outside draw. CHEF'S KISS (1) improving with racing and he won't get a better chance to get off the mark today from the low gate. Stuck on well with the 59kg to run fifth over 1175m at Albury. Trained locally and goes close. RAWANO (6) the barrier gods haven't been kind this time in and can return to form today from a good gate. Taken back from the outside alley and chipped away late to finish seventh over 1405m at the Sapphire Coast. Expect a big run this time. PASSING THROUGH (10) deep into the prep and made progress last start when third over 1405m at the Sapphire Coast. Will roll forward and can take a hand in the finish. ROCKABYE ROXY (12) produced solid figures second-up with an eye-catching second over 1205m at the Sapphire Coast. Clearly come back well and no surprise to see her win this second-up.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,6,10,12.
5 02:35 O'BRIENS PLUMBING COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1425m
Solid tempo set by Zoucat and Caravanserai. OLINGTON LANE (3) talented gelding who failed to remain unbeaten at his third start when struggling in the heavy going to run fourth over 1300m at Kembla Grange in BVM64 grade. This looks more to his liking on the firmer surface. SURE INTENTIONS (7) frustrating gelding who comes back to his right trip today. Never comfortable on the synthetic track when sixth over 1750m at Canberra Acton. Capable of featuring prominently from the inside draw. SPIRITUAL STAR (5) tough Maiden win at start six over 1405m at the Sapphire Coast from a wide barrier. Today is no easier and place claims look best. SPIRITUAL STAR (5) struggling to draw a decent gate and today is no different. Rewarded for his consistent with a game Maiden win at the Sapphire Coast over 1405m. Place best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Olington Lane can put these away.
6 03:10 MOLLYMOOK COOLROOMS BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1650m
Looks to be plenty of pace with Brannum and Graynita battling for the lead. DUNWITHYA (2) improving Dundeel gelding who resumed with an eye-catching fourth over 1500m at Kembla Grange on a heavy (8) surface. Proven second-up performer who will be savaging the line in a weaker race. GRAYNITA (11) strengthened over the break and can keep raising the bar as she stretches out to the 1600m. Went back from the draw and circled the field with a solid third over 1400m at Corowa. Can race closer from the better gate and shapes as a top-three player. SACRED INGOT (13) just under a month between runs when he knocked up in the straight to run eighth over 1605m at the Sapphire Coast. Has further upside with winning jockey going back on. EXCEED SUCCESS (4) goes well at this course and distance and was a month between runs at latest with a tiring seventh over 1605m at the Sapphire Coast. Likely to go back and be ridden for luck. Place best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Dunwithya and Graynita can figure prominently.
7 03:50 TLE ELECTRICAL BATEMANS BAY BENCHMARK 74 HANDICAP 1200m
Getty should lead at a strong tempo. MISS JENNIFER (1) back sharply in class and she gets a much better set-up for this with the claim. Never handled the synthetic track with a poor tenth over 1280m at Canberra Acton. Adept in all going and can return to form quickly. SHE CONQUERS (8) smart fresh mare primed for this with the two sharp trials. Never came up last prep when a poor sixth over 1250m at Randwick Kensington last December. Can sit off the good speed and launch late with the blinkers going on. REMADOSI (10) resumes after winning two-in-a-row last prep over 1400m. Savaged the line with a narrow second over 1600m at Canberra in BM75 class last March. Proven fresh with the 2kg claim. Leading player. HELLINDA (6) class runner of the field poorly drawn for this. Finds an easier race and place prospects look best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Miss Jennifer has sound each way claims.
8 04:25 CAMERONS H HARDWARE BATEMANS BAY CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1200m
Dirtballer and I Show Speed should set a strong gallop. WINNIE FORTUNE (12) consistent mare due for a change of luck. Ready for this trip third-up and will appreciate the firmer surface after holding on to secure second over 1000m at Nowra. Doesn't have to improve much to beat these on her home track. MR USHER (13) strengthened over the break and assess on the good Maiden win at Queanbeyan two-back. Drops in weight and maps to get the right run. DIRTBALLER (8) created a massive impression when defeating inferior opposition on debut with a slick on-pace win as fav over 1005m at the Sapphire Coast. Will have little trouble over this trip and can overcome the sticky gate. Leading contender. SHUTTERING (14) ran on late first-up with a respectable fourth over 1000m at Corowa. Better gate today and the extra distance can see her take a hand in the finish.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 12,13,8,14.
