NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:07 TABTOUCH MAIDEN 1200m
The race lacks early speed so doubt they will go too hard. ORDASHUS (2) tackled stronger races last campaign where he was just outclassed. Now lines up for the new stable and on his home deck and hasn't been sighted since his last start at Pinjarra. Finds a very suitable race on that form however and he can return with a win. COSTA STAR (6) improved last time out, finishing 1.2 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1200m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. ALL KING'S (4) is fitter for two runs back from a spell, progressing nicely last time to finish third, beaten 4.5 lengths, at this track over 1200m. Blinkers are removed. Should run well. WILLYABRUP (3) was prominent until they straightened last time but weakened to finish sixth, beaten 12 lengths, over 2200m at Northam. This looks a nice race so expect him to finish closer. AL'S GAL (9) is next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Ordashus goes on top.
2 01:47 AVIS CARNARVON MAIDEN 1200m
Reincarnated has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. RIVER BEAUTY (7) turned in a better effort last start over this track and trip and gets a slight gear change to help keep her on course. The inside draw this time looks a big tick for her and if she can run up to her most recent figure, she'll be hard to hold out. REINCARNATED (4) wasn't far away on debut last start over 1200m at York, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. CORNERBACK (1) resumes from a spell of four months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 1600m at Strathalbyn. Rates highly and is a chance to break through. THE SESSIONE (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track when finishing eighth. Nicely placed to find some form. SO I THOUGHT (6) is in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: River Beauty goes on top.
3 02:20 MELBOURNE CUP HERE ON FAMILY DAY 19TH JULY HANDICAP 1400m
A solid tempo is on the cards with The Coolakin King and Bigdayonit pushing for the lead ahead of Corn Cob and The Rush. CORN COB (1) bounced back to form with a solid performance at Roebourne last start when leading, finishing 1.5L off the winner. That form has worked out well with 2 winners form 3 subsequent starters. Nicely placed here to find the front and will take catching. THE RUSH (4) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when 14th, beaten 7 lengths, over this journey at Belmont Park. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. THE COOLAKIN KING (2) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't feature last start when 8 lengths away in seventh over 1200m at this track. Worth noting Rocky Cheung goes aboard. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. IRONCLAD BOY (6) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing ninth and beaten 15 lengths. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. URBAN WARRIOR (8) is third-up here and can't be left out of calculations.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Corn Cob can go one better today.
4 02:50 SEA HARVEST FISHING CO. HANDICAP 1400m
Without a noted leader engaged Kunapipi may cross and take it up. UNDERCOVER SNIPER (3) got the job done here two back as favourite before getting too far back and not threatening last time over 1200m. Out in trip for just the second time today, though it looks to suit and the claim comes in handy. Drawn well and can get back to winning ways. SWEXAN (4) finished fourth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 2.25 lengths as favourite after being in contention on the bend over 1400m at this track. No reason he cannot salute again. A LOT OF CLASS (8) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back it up last time when 11th, beaten 11 lengths, at this track over 1400m. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. KUNAPIPI (7) has been in the placings her past two starts, finishing third over 1200m at this track last time out. Should park just off the speed. Sure to be thereabouts. THE KING'S UNCLE (1) is worth including third-up into the campaign.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Undercover Sniper can return to winning form.
5 03:20 KEVIN LEAHY MEMORIAL HANDICAP 1200m
Incandescent Lady and Soaring Solo possess good early speed. AARDVARK (1) dropped a level last start and went whack, scoring a strong victory when on the speed throughout at this track and trip. This shapes similarly and he in fact drops in grade for today's assignment. Carries the big weight but deserves to and can repeat the dose. LET'S SEA (7) has switched yards since finishing seventh five weeks ago over 1400m at this track. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. INCANDESCENT LADY (8) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 1200m at York after she was in the firing line on the turn. Should be peaking now and is among the leading chances. MARS MISSION (2) did a good job last time, finishing in the money when second over 1200m at this track. Going well without winning and is too good to ignore. HOT PUDDIN (6) is better than he showed last start and can return to this level with a bang.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Aardvark.
6 03:55 MALLARD CONTRACTING HANDICAP 1600m
A lack of early speed leaves it open for Never Sober to run them along. ONLY US (2) has gone back-to-back at this track recently, storming home to win in a photo over 1400m here last time out. Looks well suited now out to the mile and Hammarquist has him humming. May get back in the run but watch for him flying late in the race. WESTERN IMPACT (3) finished in 11th last time at this track in a disappointing performance. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. ODIN OMEN (5) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at this track. Has a fair record when second up, including three top-three finishes. Fitter so expect a better run this time. SHEEZA SHEILA (11) was safely held when resuming last start over 1200m at this track, finishing 11th. Should run well in this more suitable assignment. CANDLELIGHT SHERIF (1) will be better for the fresh run for the new stable and is not to be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Only Us looks the one to beat.
7 04:25 TABTOUCH - BETTER YOUR BET HANDICAP 1000m
From the inside gate Cozzies Choice can show speed with Weapons Hot and Fuzzybox prominent. WEAPONS HOT (4) led them up here last start and was only caught late, beaten 0.6L over 1200m. Back to 1000m may be the niggle, but he's drawn well and carries less weight today. Can sit handy from the outset and be in this for a very long way. GOLD SPY (2) scored first up two runs ago but couldn't back it up last time when fifth over 1200m at this track. Form at this track is hard to knock with four wins from six starts. Bold showing expected. PRECAST (10) tackled a dirt track for the first time last over today's course and distance, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in fourth. Worth following up. CHEEKY CHARLOTTE (5) resumes from a spell of four months and is having her first outing under new trainer Jackie Scott. Finished fourth at Geraldton over 1113m at the opening run last time in work. Won't be far away.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Weapons Hot gets the nod in the last.
