NUM TIME COMMENT
1 11:55 TURSA EMPLOYMENT COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN HANDICAP 1200m
Not a great deal of pressure likely in the small field, with Bucket List a potential leader. SPARTAN STEEL (1) finished just shy of the frame in fourth last start after being in the firing line on the corner over 1400m at Taree, an improvement on his fifth on debut at Port Macquarie the run before. Drops back to the 1200m third-up and should be sharpened by the blinkers. Can break through now. MISS MIDAS TOUCH (8) returns. Showed positive signs in her debut prep and was well supported throughout. Hasn't been seen at any public trials but she gets in light with the 2kg claimer engaged and this does look a thin contest. Can make a bright return. BUCKET LIST (2) returns and came desperately close to getting off the mark before the break at Graton. In the mix. COSMIC FUN (7) comes into the mix after some key scratchings.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Spartan Steel.
2 12:30 TAKE A BREAK AT WOOLGOOLGA MAIDEN PLATE 1050m
Here's Beau to take up the running with Egyptian Lass and Morebar close at hand. MOREBAR (5) couldn't get the job done as favourite when resuming but never stopped trying when beaten a neck at Coffs Harbour. Is sure to have come on from that and can go one better this time. FUNKY COLD MEDINA (2) only warmed late on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when in the firing line before finishing third. Is open to further improvement third-up and is drawn to get all the favours. Big threat. HERE'S BEAU (3) was well supported on debut last start and turned in a solid effort to finish second at Murwillumbah. Has plenty of scope for improvement and is one of the obvious chances. EGYPTIAN LASS (9) finds it tough to break through but has efforts littered through her form that can be competitive. The 3kg gets her in light again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Morebar to win.
3 01:05 COFFS CUP ON SALE MAIDEN PLATE 1400m
Genuine tempo from Pacific Reel leading No Woman No Cry. SATIN AND CASH (10) is also knocking on the door and can improve sharply with the blinkers going on. Been well supported throughout this prep and gets another good chance to get off the mark. NO WOMAN NO CRY (2) disappointed fresh in his stable debut but is open to sharp improvement with that run out of the way. PACIFIC REEL (13) was too bad to be true last start when dropping right out but his form prior was good. Is drawn to advantage and can give a bold sight. Don't underestimate. REDLAND BAY (3) was better in his second outing when warming nicely late to grab third. Is open to further improvement.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Satin And Cash to win.
4 01:40 SEAVIEW TAVERN WOOLGOOLGA CUP BENCHMARK 82 HANDICAP 1400m
In the small field Capo Strada and Master Of Rewards are expected to take up the running. SHAMEDY (2) returns over a pet trip and handles all conditions. Has a strong turn of foot on his day, so if they can utilise the inside alley he will take plenty of holding out. BETTER BE NORDY (3) has struggled so far this prep but has been sent back to the trials with 34 days between runs where he has jumped out well. Rates highly on best figures and gets 2kgs off with the claim. CAPO STRADA (1) comes right into calculations after some key scratchings and should improve second-up. MASTER OF REWARDS (9) was a winner two back at Grafton but this is significantly tougher.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Shamedy to win.
5 02:15 WOOPI NEWS COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1600m
Many of these have the speed to be prominent so a genuine tempo is anticipated. HE'S GODSPEED (2) went back early from his wide draw over this trip at Taree last time but hit the line strongly to finish fifth. Doesn't win out of turn but watch for him to be charging home again. SEETHING CHUCK (4) just missed last time when a neck away in second at Coffs Harbour after rattling home fresh. Peaking now and is a genuine contender. QUEEN OF TAYRONA (3) was a good winner two back but failed to follow it up here last time. Keeping safe on best form. GRIFFINSTOWN GIRL (9) comes into calculations after some key scratchings.  SUGGESTED PLAY: He's Godspeed to win.
6 02:55 JESSE RILEY COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1600m
A solid tempo on the cards with Zou Big Boy taking charge. ZOU BIG BOY (1) couldn't go on with the job last time at Scone when fading into fourth after leading them up. Holds genuine claims on best figures and gets an important 4kg claim. Will prove tough to reel in if left alone in front. BONFIDELITY (3) battled away soundly into fourth last start over 2245m at Grafton, an improvement on her fifth at this track the run before. Mikayla Weir gets the best out of this four-year-old mare and is well placed to play a major role. FLASH PRINCE (9) was a dominant winner fresh but has struggled since. At peak fitness now and holds claims on best form. MS HUBBLE (8) draws to get the cosy run and is another that is in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Zou Big Boy gets the nod.
7 03:35 WOOPI & CO ACCOUNTING F&M BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1050m
Expecting On My Command to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. FANCY SHOULDER (10) is a five-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Daniel Wheeler barn. Has ratings in South Australia that line up well for this and she strips fitter for a trial win. Can make a bright start in the new colours. ON MY COMMAND (2) pushed forward last time and boxed on gamely into third at Grafton. Will again be prominent from the outset and is well placed for another big run. EVIL LOVER (9) finally broke through fresh and has been thereabouts since without striking. Has a good turn of foot and if she's close at the turn she will take some stopping. DIAMONDSAREMIO (6) has struggled of late but has prior form that can measure up. Can sneak a minor spot.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Fancy Shoulder to win.
8 04:10 C.EX COMMUNITY CREW SLEEP OUT CG&E BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1050m
Expecting Lord Seymour to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. This race has changed complete complexion after a stack of key outs. LORD SEYMOUR (8) dug deep to get off the mark fresh. Was less effective second-up but got things back on tack last start when chasing gamely into the placings in the slop at Coffs Harbour. Peaking now and keeps the 2kg claimer aboard. Looks the one to beat now. THE LUPERCAL (7) doesn't win out of turn but is knocking on the door and has good early toe. Expect him to push forward from the middle draw and give backers a sight. CARDSHARP (5) returns over a preferred trip and usually races well fresh. Draws well and gets an important claim. Should measure up. OLUFSEN (3) best of the rest.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Lord Seymour to win.
