NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:03 BECOME A BRC MEMBER Maiden Plate 2070m
Isla Delilah has good gate speed and can overcome the wide alley to lead. ISLA DELILAH (11) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing at her past four outings and strikes a very winnable contest here. Gets in well at the weights with the claim and should be right there when the whips are cracking. PROMISES MADE (12) just missed the frame when well in the market last time out and where there's smoke there's fire. Can feature with natural improvement. AMELIORATION (5) has placed around this circuit and is better than the past couple of efforts suggest. Worth another chance. CLASSIC SHIRAZ (8) went down by the narrowest of margins last start and looks to be building up to a maiden victory. In the mix. KOOLIBAH (9) next in line out of the champion Waller yard.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Isla Delilah to break through.
2 01:38 GALLOPERS SPORTS CLUB Maiden Plate 1200m
Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Under Arrest. UNDER ARREST (7) resumes here but the form he showed in his first preparation was good enough for a race of this calibre. Tuned up for this with a recent trial and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. WOODROW (8) brings NSW formlines to the table and should find this assignment a touch easier than what he faced down south. Looms as the main danger. RECONCILIATE (11) placed around this circuit last time out and again gets the reliable Gollan/Jones combination. Top-three aspirations. SAINT ALDWYN (5) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome at the latest effort but go on the solid second at Canterbury when resuming. Can bounce right back. BOMB PERIGNON (10) best of the rest from the favourable draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 7,8,11,5.
3 02:13 SKY RACING Class 5 Handicap 1660m
Strong tempo to be established by Carravilla, Wild Gypsy and Eclair Awesome. LARIDAE (4) got a well-deserved win over this track and trip last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Winning hoop Baker sticks in the irons and again gets the benefit of her 3kg claim. Draws the inside marble and looks the one they all have to run down. CARRAVILLA (2) was a touch disappointing at the latest effort but the form prior was full of merit. Capable of bouncing right back. ECLAIR AWESOME (3) placed over this course and distance at the latest outing and will be rock-hard fit for this. Don't dismiss lightly. The well-related WILD GYPSY (6) (half to G1 winner Wild Ruler) is a bit hit or miss but is more than capable enough on his day. Include in calculations. KERKORIAN (7) strips fitter second-up from the spell and may earn some minor money.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Laridae to win again.
4 02:48 RACECOURSE VILLAGE Colts, Geldings and Entires Class 3 Handicap 1350m
Ninjitzou has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. HELL TO PAY (1) has a handy record over this distance range with two wins and four placings from ten attempts and maps ideally for this from gate two. Gets some well-needed weight relief with the 2kg claim and should be right there at the business end. SUPERHERO (3) is a consistent commodity who has hit the top-five in ten of his past 11 starts and rarely puts in a poor one. A must for the multiples. TOPHET (4) grows a leg for hoop Mallyon who has two wins and a placing from just three steers and is racing high on confidence of late. Has to be included. SNITZOND (6) is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and should give backers a sight. LUMENS LENNY (5) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 1,3,4,6.
5 03:23 SUNSET SOIREE 20 MARCH QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate 1350m
Expecting Boomtown Laddie to lead Illegal Justice at just a moderate tempo. OUR MATE LOCKY (8) is improving with racing this time in work and looks to be building up to a maiden victory. Ready to peak now third-up from the break and should get a cosy run in transit from gate two. Rates the testing material. DON'T DOUBT MISSY (9) just ran into one better at the latest effort and must be respected out of the Heathcote yard. Only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be playing a role in the outcome. GEITZ (10) has been right there in all four runs this campaign and gets in light with the 2kg claim. Top-three candidate. FIDARDO (3) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and won't need to be a superstar to be competitive against this lot. Watch for any market confidence. LUKE SKYWALKER (7) next best out of the Gollan camp.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 8,9,10,3.
6 03:58 XXXX GOLD Fillies and Mares Class 3 Handicap 1350m
Expecting Divine Source to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. DIVINE SOURCE (6) is an honest campaigner who is yet to miss the top-five in ten career starts to date and doesn't know how to run a bad race. Winning rider Thornton sticks in the saddle and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. MUSIC FEVER (4) has strung two wins together on the bounce and it's hard to knock mares in form. Capable of another strong showing. The well-related CORDINA (5) (half to Golden Slipper winner Farnan) hit the frame here when having her first run for the new stable and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Top-three credentials. LUNAR EIGHT (2) will be ready to peak now third run back and gets the services of Jones in the stirrups. In the mix. MARAGICAL (3) best of the rest from the inside marble.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Divine Source.
7 04:33 MAGIC MILLIONS DIGITAL QTIS Three-Year-Old & Four-Year-Old BENCHMARK 70 Handicap 1200m
Solid tempo anticipated with Ave Cantare leading the way. MARUNOUCHI (9) was well supported over this track and trip on debut and didn't let backers down with a dominant victory. Winning hoop Thompson stays on top and should get all the favours from the inside alley. Can go back-to-back to start the career. ANDI DON'T CARE (8) goes well for rider Jones who has a win and three placings from just five steers. Has to be included. GRAMMAR LAD (3) kicked off this campaign last time out with a fourth over 1200m at this track. Fitter and looks a strong place chance. AVE CANTARE (10) returned in good order last start, beaten only 0.7 lengths when second at Sunshine Coast over 1200m. Include.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 9,8,3,10.
8 05:10 LADBROKES BET TICKER BENCHMARK 68 Handicap 2070m
Tap High to roll forward and dictate terms. The well-related GALWAY FLYER (9) (half to G2 winner Kirwan's Lane) was impressive when shedding the maiden tag in dominant fashion two back before just missing the frame at the Gold Coast last time out. Winning rider Thornton reunites in the saddle and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Rates among the leading chances. TENBURY WELLS (6) has been plying his trade in harder Saturday metro grade and will appreciate the drop back in company here. Sure to give backers a sight. DELRICO (3) is one from one over this course and distance and will be ready to peak no third-up from the spell. Shouldn't be underestimated. ARTFUL GIRL (7) gets 1.5kg off with the claim and may trouble the judge with any luck in running. TAP HIGH (11) rounds out the selections in an open race to close out the card.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning towards Galway Flyer.
