DOMELAND HANDICAP 1350m
Moderate tempo with Promenade leading the way. RACHINI (9) was only beaten 3.4L in the Magic Millions Debutant Stakes at Caulfield on debut and will be better for the first-up outing in the G2 Reisling Stakes at Randwick. She'd switched to the Baker yard and had come off two big Rosehill trial wins. Plenty of scope for improvement, and the Zoustar filly is well placed to break through. PROMENADE (8) resumed at Warwick Farm over shorter and looked a run short. Had come off an easy Randwick trial win and should appreciate the longer sprint. Will position forward from the handy gate. UNIVERSE (4) had no luck at Canterbury on debut. He's certain to appreciate the step-up in distance. Kerrin McEvoy replaces JMac. He rides JAPAN (5), who didn't do a lot on debut. He should be more competitive today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rachini is the one to beat. |

AUSTRALIAN VACCINE SERVICES PLATE 1100m
Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of first starters. HELLABELLA (5) resumes and has been in the placings at three of her four starts. Readied for this with two trial wins at Randwick, and Tim Clark is engaged. She will jump and run out of the inside barrier and sets a decent standard for the newcomers. Stablemate LOREAL BELLE (6) has been well prepared for her debut. Comes off a Randwick trial win and Rachel King sticks from that. Draws to advantage and a bold effort is on the cards. MALUKU (7) debuts and has also trialled well at Warwick Farm. Keep onside. CANAL (2) is ex-James Cummings and has shown enough. The niggle is the 370 days off the scene, but he has three trials under his belt, and Tommy Berry is engaged. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hellabella makes strong appeal. |

COAST COMMUNITY NEWS HANDICAP 1625m
In a small field either Decalogue or Lilac Girl will find the front. ALMAAZ (4) spiked her figures third-up, beaten a short-head over 1500m at Rosehill. Settled midfield and knuckled down strongly. Has an inside gate and JMac stays aboard. Comes back to the provincials and she can go one better. THINK ITZ YOU (6) fought on for second last start over 1600m at Warwick Farm, making it two minor placings in a row. Maps for a soft run and Tommy Berry is reunited. Rates to go close. LILAC GIRL (10) resumed much improved beaten a half-length over 1400m when expected to need it. Sits down in the weights and will race forward. Fitter and she's sure to give a sight. IRON LEGEND (7) also resumed improved beaten 1.4L over 1500m at Hawkesbury and then got too far back at Warwick Farm. Kerrin McEvoy takes over from the 3kg apprentice and he's capable of making the finish. DECALOGUE (3) has more to give second-up and keep well onside with Lloyd going aboard. SUGGESTED PLAY: Almaaz to win. |

STAR 104.5 HANDICAP 1000m
Cracking tempo looks assured with many of these capable of pushing on early. WOOTTON LASS (6) had raced at Group 2 level four times before winning a 72 at Warwick Farm second-up. Strips fitter and is nicely placed to give this a shake for the in-form Archibald yard. SHIRVINGTON (3) resumes for Bjorn Backer and has won 2/3 fresh. Won 2/3 last preparation and has trialled well for his return with race rider Gibbons aboard. Has scope for further improvement and will go close with average luck from the awkward barrier. DON'T DOUBT MERLIN (4) resumed further improved, beaten a neck at Newcastle and then won a 64 comfortably this track/trip. Maps well and carries 3.5kg less. Fitter again and will get every chance to go back-to-back. WONDEREACH (1) is good enough and has been racing in much tougher company. Likes to race forward and Nash Rawiller is a positive jockey engagement. Carries top weight but can manage. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Wootton Lass. |

CENTRAL COAST COOLROOMS HANDICAP 2125m
Stylebender or Cormac T to take the lead and attempt to control the tempo. LUNAR LOVER (7) has competed over 2400m at his last three and reverts to a middle distance today. Ran below his best when well supported at Rosehill last time but brought commanding form to that. Maps for a soft run and Zac Lloyd is a positive rider engagement. He will run it right out and gets the nod. CORMAC T (5) is proven third-up and should be ready to show his best. Didn't fire at Rosehill last time stepping up quickly to 2000m and has trialled since. Has the ability and will get every chance. GOLDEN CENTURY (1) resumed over 2000m at Randwick 18-days ago in stronger grade and settled rearward from a wide barrier. Proved difficult to fully test in the home straight and has been back to the trials since. JMac stays aboard and sharp improvement is on the cards. STYLEBENDER (4) is free running and won by a space at Warwick Farm over this distance. Led all the way this grade over 2400m at Rosehill following. Uses the low gate and the 3kg claim brings him right into it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Lunar Lover. |

GOSFORD AIR HANDICAP 1200m
Slick pace with Zale finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. CAESAR (4) has JMac up and was too good for the 64 graders at Canterbury first up. He's won a Rosehill trial since with JMac aboard, and he stays with him. The Snowden yard is flying, and the progressive gelding can go back-to-back. READY TO SHINE (5) raced handy and won this grade/trip at Warwick Farm, heavily supported. Peaks and Lloyd stays aboard. He can fight out the finish. ZOURIPPER (3) resumes and is proven fresh. Has two trials under the saddle and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jumps from the paint and Rawiller's engagement interests. SILENTSAR (1) resumed in a 78 at Randwick in good order but has been plain the two since. Comes back a level for this and he'd be in the finish near best. May show more. SUGGESTED PLAY: Caesar to win. |

CARLTON & UNITED BREWERIES HANDICAP 1350m
Genuine tempo with the speedy Formal Display leading the way. FORMAL DISPLAY (2) resumes and his Scone trials suggest he's set to race boldly. Proven fresh and his numbers stack right up. He'll position forward and benefitting from a 1.5kg claim will be hard to roll. HOPPER (9) was quickly back to his best second-up, comfortably winning a CL1 over 1400m at Kembla Grange. He's been kept ticking over with a Rosehill trial and Gibbons can position forward. Carries 3kg less in tougher and has the race fitness. The Snowden yard is flying. On song, EMIRATE (1) rates a threat. Was in the market but cruelled by a wide gate at Rosehill first-up and is capable of quick improvement. He's won second-up, and JMac stays aboard. Just needs a touch of luck from the sticky gate. VIENNA VIXEN (11) tumbles in weight off a narrow defeat over 1400m at Warwick Farm. That brings him into it, and he jumps from the paint. DIDDLE DUMPLING (7) is up to this at best but has the outside gate to contend with. Keep onside all the same. SUGGESTED PLAY: Formal Display appeals most. |

ENCORE BY MINGARA HANDICAP 1350m
Bubbles Up and Seastraand possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. MAYBE MOET (2) was backed off the map winning a 62 easily at Canterbury and then went back and was beaten a whisker over 1200m this level as a $2 favourite. Peaks and Berry rides today and has won on the mare. She can bounce straight back. BUBBLES UP (12) led and delivered a Rosehill Maiden as expected on debut. Draws wide but has a stack of gate speed and Clark will have her on the bunny. She's promising and is sure to give a big sight. BURJ (1) draws outside the above and has the choice to skip across with her. Led all the way this level over 1250m at Canterbury last time and keeps improving. Can make the finish with average luck. SEASTRAAND (10) led and won a CL1 at Hawkesbury second-up. Meets tougher opposition but will keep improving. She will enjoy a soft run and has the tongue tie on for the first time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Maybe Moet to win. |
