Magain Real Estate Maiden Plate 1900m
Solid tempo anticipated with Largs Legacy and Sassy Summer leading the way. LARGS LEGACY (11) has built nicely into her debut campaign with close minor placings in her last two and should be at her top now fifth up. Is expected to handle the rise in trip on the quick back-up and looks the one to beat. KOHALA (2) finds the maiden win elusive but has got things back on track with minor placings in his last three. Strips rock-hard fit and keeps Holder. Gets his chance. VALUED (5) backs up quickly after a flat effort at Mt Gambier five days ago. Capable of better. QATAR (4) has struggled to threaten so far but strikes a thin maiden and could've just been looking for this longer trip. Keeping safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Largs Legacy to win. |

Ray White Real Estate Maiden Plate 1400m
Expecting Love To Lie to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. DISCREETLY BLUE (3) got things back on track third-up when beaten narrowly at Balaklava. Will likely drift back from the draw but looks to have a slight edge on these and can round them up. BOOLCUNDA DAWN (11) was well supported fresh when missing by a lip at Kingscote. Followed it up with a solid chasing effort at Murray Bridge. Peaking now and is the obvious main danger. LOVE TO LIE (13) loomed up on debut but just lacked a fitness edge late. Better for that and is drawn favourably. Expect her to be in this for a long way. ALL TOO TRUE (1) was good two back when missing by a head at Mt Gambier. Less effective third-up but has since been freshened with 35 days and drops back in trip. Don't underestimate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Discreetly Blue. |

Capetal Advisory Maiden Plate 1050m
Anticipating good pressure with many of these at the races for the first time. TOUR DE MOON (3) was a flashing light on debut, only missing by a head at Balaklava. Is sure to have come on from that and gets a key jockey switch in Toeroek. Can go one better. NOW EAST (2) resumes. Showed plenty of promise in his second prep without breaking through. Trialled well in readiness, though will need a smart steer from the car park draw. HERE SHE IS (13) is a Puissance De Lune filly on debut for the smart juvenile stable of Michael Hickmott. Built nicely in her lead-up work, forgiving the latest, and gets a key booking in Crowther. Can make a bright start. WOODSTOCK (6) improved nicely second-up when chasing gamely into the placings at Balaklava. Fitter again, though will need some luck from the wide draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Tour De Moon to win. |

Coopers Brewery Fillies & Mares Rating 0 - 56 Handicap 1400m
Solid tempo anticipated with Reigning Star taking charge. LIMBERING (6) has speed to burn and was a determined winner in this grade earlier in the prep. Will push forward again from the draw and will prove tough to reel in if left alone. IN YOUR WORDS (4) ultimately left herself too much ground to bridge last start as favourite but did finish with full of running. If they can settle a pair or two closer this time, she will take some stopping. BLUE ISLES (3) returns over what looks short of a preferred trip but should get a soft run from the low draw for Milnes and did shed her maiden over this journey. Don't take her lightly. GRINZINGER GOLD (1) got off the mark in style last time at Port Lincoln when leading pillar-to-post. Should come on from that but isn't drawn as kindly this time and loses Milnes. SUGGESTED PLAY: Limbering to lead all the way. |

Harcourts Adelaide Hills Class One Handicap 1100m
Expecting Prince Kuro to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. LITTLEBOURKESTREET (2) was denied narrowly from making return at headquarters last month. Is sure to have come on from that and keeps Holder. Leading player. TRIPOD TERROR (1) finds it tough to land the second win but it certainly hasn't been without trying. Backs up quickly after closing off nicely into the placings on Saturday. Will likely drift back from his draw and be taking big strides late. OUR LITTLE STAR (7) has proven frustrating for punters this campaign but gets the chance to change her fortunes for the new stable. Drops back to a winning trip off 26 days and is right in the mix. JILL ON ICE (8) is ready to make her return after a strong trial win here in readiness. Worth noting she got off the mark when resuming last time in. Drawn to advantage and should give a very bold sight, though may be vulnerable late first-up off 301 days. UNCLE BARRY (4) got off the mark stylishly when resuming at Port Lincoln. This is tougher but he deserves following up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Littlebourkestreet to win. |

Oakbank Hotel Rating 0 - 56 Handicap 1050m
Fast pace assured with Sha Na Na, Refreshing and Shadowfax leading the charge. RICH LADY (5) is knocking on the door and looks to have found her race to finally break through. Draws to get the suck run for Toeroek behind the hot early tempo. Just needs the gap to appear. SHADOWFAX (3) failed to go on with the job last start after racing on speed in town. Drops back in grade and gets help at the weights with the 3kg claimer going on. Is drawn to advantage and is expected to take plenty of catching from the front. ANOTHER BRIDE (7) was no match for Oak Park Maddison last start, who has since come out and won a strong race on the weekend. Prior form stacks up and she should give herself every chance up on pace. Don't take lightly. SUNDOGG (9) has been freshened with 49 days. Will appreciate the anticipated tempo and can burst through late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rich Lady gets the nod. |

Klose's Supermarkets Colts, Geldings & Entires Rating 0 - 56 Handicap 1400m
A solid tempo is anticipated with Star Casino and Hard Leaf kicking up to hold out the next wave. TERRITORIAN (8) is going better than his form reads and has been warming nicely late over shorter trips. The rise to 1400m looks perfect fourth-up and should be running on nicely for Holder again. STAR CASINO (6) has been tiring late over longer journeys. Steps back in trip now and is drawn to bounce straight in front again. Will give another bold sight. SIR PANAMA (5) dug deep to get the verdict two back then stuck on gamely into the frame last time at Balaklava. Drops back to a winning trip and can give this a big shake. LAST WAR (18) has bounced back sharply to form in his last two. Drawn tricky but deserves his chance after two strong efforts. Watch for him launching late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Territorian to win. |
