REPUNIT (16) is yet to break through after three career starts. Could only manage to finish seventh last time out over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt following a minor placing at this track over 1400m the run prior. Better than latest and gets chance to atone. NUCLEOTIDE (8) returned last time with a solid third at Nakayama Dirt over 1200m after being in contention on the bend. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BARE HANDED CATCH (10) ran a better race last start at his second appearance, finishing fifth over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Has further upside and looks ready to break through. NANYO LOYAL (4) is back after a break of ten weeks. At the last run before the layoff he finished tenth over 1800m at Tokyo. Solid top-three hope. |

MORONO KAGAYAKI (3) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 0.6 lengths from the winner in third over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. G T BLACK (11) stepped out on his debut over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt three weeks ago and finished fifth, beaten 1.4 lengths. Should progress this time and is expected to feature. BOMBON BABY (9) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten 7 lengths into ninth. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. TAKERU MUSASHI (5) closed last prep nine weeks ago when he finished sixth over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. One of the key contenders. |

TILBURY (15) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Can run over the top of them late. ERDBEERE (10) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Kokura Dirt over 1700m, beaten a head. Cherry-ripe now. Close to a win with two placings from three starts. Should be in the finish. COSMO KANONE (1) debuted two weeks ago when she finished fourth over 2000m at Nakayama, beaten 3 lengths. Better for that run and can improve sharply. SARASA CHACHACHA (8) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt, beaten only a neck. This looks a good race for her and she is one of the key runners. |

REY HISTORICO (10) has not been far away lately, most recently finishing second over 2200m at Nakayama. Sure to appreciate the extra journey and looms as a significant player. BELTRACCHI (2) returned last time with a solid second at Nakayama over 2200m. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. INTHANON (14) showed good speed and fought on for second over 2000m at Nakayama on debut last start. Tried to lead throughout on debut but found one better. Sure to be competitive. SATONO CLASSICAL (5) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in fourth over 2000m at Nakayama. Open to plenty of improvement. |

BEST ME EVER (2) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 2000m at Niigata. Has good speed and expected to take running down. PRIMZAHL (5) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 1600m at Nakayama, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and this looks well within her grasp. ITOKAWA SAKURA (3) was out of the money first-up but has since placed two on end and looks close to a win, the latest effort a third over 1800m at Hanshin. Looks tough to stop. MEISTERWERK (6) resumes. Wasn't far away at the only run last time in work, finishing sixth over 1800m at Fukushima 11 weeks ago. Looks a strong top-three prospect. |

CENTRAL VALLEY (9) finished third last time over 1400m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out. |

Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. SKY SPLENDOR (6) debuted with a win two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when fourth over 2000m at Kyoto, beaten 2 lengths after he did his best work late. Goes up a rung or two but he is worth serious consideration. DANON CEFIRO (7) is back from a spell of four months. Closed last prep as a winner, taking out a 1800m contest at this track by one length. Picked up strongly to score maiden win at only run last campaign. Has upside and looks a strong chance. BROWN BANANA (2) has not raced since he scored on debut over 1800m at this track on October 19. Can only be improved. One of the contenders. |

LYNX TIP (11) resumes. Wasn't far away at the only run last time in work, finishing fourth over 2200m in the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Kyoto 12 weeks ago. Most of career has been at the elite level and is Grade 1 placed in the Oka Sho. Excellent chance this easier class. ROUGE SOLITAIRE (9) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 5.5 lengths away in eighth over 2000m in the G1 Shuka Sho at Kyoto on October 19. Has won when fresh from a spell in the past. Among the leading chances. CANICULE (1) has had two runs since a break, the latest a sixth over 1600m at Nakayama, beaten 6 lengths. Strips fitter so she is among the leading chances. MIKKI TWINKLE (5) is fitter for two runs back from a spell, progressing nicely last time to finish second, beaten one length, at Kokura over 1800m. Among the better chances. |

WATER LICHT (12) finished third over 1600m in the G1 Mile Championship at Kyoto at his most recent appearance on November 23. Beat a lot of his rivals he meets today. This much easier grade and has won fresh. Has three wins course and distance. Hard to beat on Grade 1 placing latest. MAGIC SANDS (4) finished eighth over 1600m in the G1 Mile Championship at Kyoto at his most recent appearance on November 23. Drawn for a soft run and will be winding up strongly. TROVATORE (7) is a handy galloper who was 1.5 lengths from the winner in fourth when resuming last start over 1600m at Kyoto. Bright prospects. ELTON BAROWS (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 7 lengths away in 12th over 2500m at Nakayama. Freshened for this and well back in grade and trip. Can do much better. |

Long time since a win and yet to win fresh but rates highly on best figures. Can get the job done.
