JAPURA (6) is poised to win after placing at her last three outings, most recently when second over 1000m at this track when she was handy all the way. Has the talent to build on that encouraging effort last start. MEKONG (8) is a daughter of Master Of My Fate from the Group 2 winner Vistula who makes her debut. Profiles nicely for this and bold showing expected. DURBAN DIAMOND (4) is facing the starter for the first time. By Hawwaam and is out of the Dennis Bosch stable. Any push in betting should be respected. FORCE OF AIR (7) is a two-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Duncan Howells. By Visionaire from Fours A Crowd. Worth watching for a betting push. |

ONLINE FORM GUIDE www.gallop.co.za MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
TIPPERARY (3) is a 24-start maiden who went close to shedding the tag last time when second over 1200m at this track. Generally performs well here and has registered four minor placings from five tries. Should be in the finish. BELLIGERENT (8) is a six-start maiden who returned last time and finished 12th at this track over 1200m, beaten 11 lengths. Much better than last start. Fitter and looks a strong winning chance on best figures. HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE (5) has been in the betting at both starts but has failed to break through. Most recently finished fifth over 1000m at Greyville, beaten 3 lengths. Right in the mix. SOVEREIGN GEM (2) finished sixth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1000m at Greyville, beaten only 1.4 lengths. This looks a good race for her and she is one of the key runners. |

GALLOP FORM MAIDEN PLATE 1200m

Can go on with it. KALI BWANA (10) is still a maiden after 11 starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 1600m at Greyville All Weather following a minor placing at Greyville All Weather over 1400m the run prior. Overdue for a win and looks a major player on recent form.PEACH MELBA (9) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth in a 1200m contest at this track four weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. SIYABAMBELELA (14) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth and beaten 3.5 lengths at Greyville over 1400m. Nicely placed to make amends. |

LIVE IT. LOVE IT. OWN IT. www.racecoast.co.za OPEN MAIDEN 1400m
ETZEBETH (1) kept coming from off the pace to hit the frame on debut. Promising type with improvement to come so he is worth following up. APACHE AG (3) resumes from a spell of eight months. Could only manage to finish ninth at the latest run over 2000m at Greyville All Weather. Will get further but did place when last fresh at this course and distance. Likely to feature. OWNER OF CREATION (8) is yet to break through in 22 runs. Finished fourth after being prominent at the bend at his last appearance over 1400m at this track on January 25. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes. QUINCY TOWN (9) was in the money two starts back at Greyville All Weather then missed the frame but was not too far away last time over 1200m at Greyville All Weather. Should be parked just off the speed. This looks a nice race for him. |

LUCKY FISH WINNING STREAK CLASS 4 1750m
FRENCH TRIP (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1750m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Back in class on last couple and rates to go close. ACTOR (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Resumed when fourth over 1400m at Greyville, beaten 3.5 lengths. Placed 2/3 second-up. CONTINENTALEXPRESS (3) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at Greyville All Weather two starts back then scored by 2 lengths last time out over 2400m at Greyville. Finds a suitable race and can build on that last-start success. ARVERNI KING (8) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fourth over 1950m at this track six-and-a-half months ago. Can make his presence felt. |

umTHOMBOTHI STAKES 1950m
KING PELLES (1) resumes and hasn't raced since the Grade 1 Summer Cup. Well placed this class and should go close despite the big weight. DOWN BY THE RIVER (2) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 2.75 lengths over 1750m at this track. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three outings. Big chance once again. GIMMEFABULOUS (6) has registered two minor placings from three runs this campaign. A neck from the winner in second last start over 1400m at Greyville. Taking on a better field but she is capable of running another bold race. ISIVIVANE (4) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at Greyville two starts back then scored by a head as public elect last time out over 1600m at Greyville All Weather. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. |
