PERFECT PAIRING (1) drops back to Class 5 today after jumping a $10 chance last time out in stronger company. James McDonald hops in the saddle now and in a good push for his chances and he maps for a lovely run in transit. Can get back to winning ways today. SUPER HONG KONG (10) sustained a mid-race move last start and bolted in over this course and distance, winning by 3.5L when running away from his opponents. He rises 3.5kg for the win, but that won't be enough to offset the margin he won by last time out. Can repeat the dose. STORM RUNNER (2) has been runner up in his past three, jumping the $1.70 favourite ahead of Super Hong Kong two back before a 0.3L defeat most recently. Back out to 2200m today where he's placed at both attempts. Can go one better now. SUPER SICARIO (3) missed by 1L last start over 1800m here and the rise in trip looks to suit. Drawn better today and can go close. |

ROBIN HANDICAP 1000m
GLORIOUS EXPERT (11) hasn't been far away in recent efforts, jumping favourite here last start and ending up 1.8L off the winner. The form out of that race has been solid and the cheekpieces are reapplied. Inching closer to a maiden win and looks well placed here on recent efforts. ORIENTAL SURPRISE (3) sat on the speed here last week and was only gunned down late, beaten 1.5L. James McDonald rides now replaces Purton and his only run at this track and trip three back was a narrow defeat. Can land the knockout blow. SKY SONG (2) finished 1.5L off the winner last time out over this course and distance in a strong return to form. Bowman remains in the saddle and he maps for a lovely run off the inside alley. Can make his presence felt once again. HAPPY HORSE (4) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back to form. |

ALBATROSS HANDICAP 1200m
FLOW WATER FLOW (4) went under in a photo finish on debut over this course and distance, flying home from beyond midfield. He was a $26 chance there, but showed good ability on debut and looks to have scope for improvement. Can go one better this time around. DENFIELD (6) got back to his best form last start when jumping favourite and getting back in a photo finish. Can sit closer than he did last time around and if he can run up to what he did last start, he'll take beating. LUCKY MAN (10) is back to 1200m today after closing off strongly over the 1400m journey most recently at Sha Tin. He's some niggle dropping in trip, though he did go close three starts back. Sure to be strong late in the race. PERFECTDAY (1) will be fitter for three trials coming into this. The booking of J-Mac is a positive sign and he can resume on a positive note. |

LARK HANDICAP 1650m
TOP TIME (1) flew home from the back of the pack at this track and trip 28 days ago, finishing 1.5L off the winner. Purton hops in the saddle now in a big push for his chances. Might need some luck from the draw, but if he can run up to what he did last start, he can go one better. MADE FOR LIFE (5) jumped favourite on debut over 1200m at Sha Tin, beaten 2L after sitting close to the speed. He jumps right up to 1650m now which is the query, though he has shown plenty of class through his early career. Can make an impression. GLORIOUS JOURNEY (2) settled back in the run last start and mowed down his rivals over this track and trip. He can settle closer in the run this time around from a good draw and he can make an impression. METAL KING (12) can fly home from the back of the pack as he did last time out. Building nicely and is not to be discounted. |

THE HONG KONG GOLF CLUB CENTENARY CUP (HANDICAP) 1200m
THUNDER PRINCE (6) is knocking on the door of a maiden win, finishing 2.5L off the winner on the All Weather last time out. Purton hops in the saddle now with a return to this track and trip where he jumped favourite two back. The inside draw is a big tick and he looks well placed to knock over his maiden. NORTHERN FIRE BALL (1) got a long way back last start and never featured over this track and trip. Back in grade today with Bowman taking the ride, this looks a targeted attack. Expecting him to sit closer today and can bounce back to winning ways. KING OBERON (2) is looking for the hat-trick following a 0.8L victory as a 20-1 chance. He's had a quiet trial since that effort and comes here on the rise. This shapes similarly today and he can continue his winning ways. BITS SUPERSTAR (7) is better than what we saw last start and can bounce back with McDonald on board. |

FORTUNE STAR (10) missed narrowly last time out over the 1650m journey at this track in a strong performance. He flew late there and the step up to 1800m for the first time today looks ideal. Needs some luck from the draw, but he looks open to plenty of improvement now and can shed the maiden tag. SHARPEN BRIGHT (4) stuck on well over the 2200m journey here last start and drops back to the 1800m trip today. He's a winner at this course and distance previously and the inside draw can see him handy in the run. Can put his best foot forward. CHINA WIN (8) switches from an outside barrier to the inside draw today with Zac Purton hopping in the saddle now. Looks an improver now at his second time over this track and trip. Drops a kilo and can play a leading role. DOUBLE WIN (5) is looking for the hat-trick and has to be included. |

MEOWTH (3) sat handy lasts tart over this course and distance and proved too good, winning by 0.3L. He jumped favourite there and the form has been franked since. Needs some luck from out wide, though he rates highly on his latest effort and can repeat the dose. THE PERFECT MATCH (4) resumes off a short break where he pulled up with an issue when beaten by 0.1L in a tight finish. He gets McDonald in the irons now and he was trending the right way before his little issue. The booking of J-Mac suggests he's ready to fire on the fresh side. RUN RUN SMART (5) won well two back before a 1.8L defeat most recently when caught three-wide and without cover behind Meowth. Can roll forward from out wide and bounce back to winning ways without surprising. DAY DAY VICTORY (1) lines up here looking for the hat-trick following a big win last start when racing wide throughout. Live chance once again. |

LOVE TOGETHER (6) settled in the second half of the field before a 0.8L defeat here a fortnight ago. He can sit a pair or two closer today from a slightly better draw and he comes here third-up and ready to fire. Building into the season nicely and he can go one better this time around. ETERNAL FORTUNE (2) missed in a photo here fresh before a 2.3L defeat here most recently as the odds-on favourite. Bowman takes the ride this time from a wide draw, but with some luck from the alley he can go close. CASA OF HONOR (5) is better than we saw last time out and can improve coming back to this track and trip. CANDLELIGHT DINNER (9) failed over the longer journey last start but has had success at this track and trip previously. Not out of this. |

SOUTH STAR (2) never fired a shot last start when getting well back and never featuring after showing promising signs in his first couple runs this season. He's trialled well since and Purton remains in the saddle which is a good push for his chances. Draws better and can bounce back to his best. MIGHTY STEED (12) draws a little better this time around after sitting on the speed and finishing 1.8L off the winner last start at this track and trip. Remains down in the weights today and if he can get across with ease, he'll be up front for a very long way. SUPER UNICORN (6) flew over the top to win here most recently to make it back-to-back wins. The inside draw will see him sit closer in the run and he can continue to his winning form. A AMERIC TE SPECSO (4) gets J-Mac on board now and can put his best foot forward. |
