TAB QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate 1680m
Nottington Prince and Uniquely Famous will settle forward and can set a moderate tempo. BRITISH GEM (9) has been right there in all three outings this preparation and looks to be knocking on the door of a maiden victory. Will be ready to peak now fourth run back and maps ideally for this from gate two. Rates the testing material. NOTTINGTON PRINCE (5) didn't measure up in tougher grade last time out but the form prior was good enough for a race of this calibre. Has placed two from three around this circuit and looms as the main danger. UNIQUELY FAMOUS (8) has been thereabouts in both starts to date and gets the reliable Waller/Maloney combination. Top-three prospects. ARTISTIC ENDEAVOUR (1) strips fitter third-up from the spell and may earn some minor money. MY CHARM (10) rounds out the selections in a race with a long tail. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 9,5,8,1. |

SEVEN NEWS BENCHMARK 70 Handicap 800m
Small field but expecting a genuine tempo with plenty of pace engaged. MISS PERSONALITY (6) resumes here but couldn't have been more impressive saluting at Eagle Farm before the spell and should find this assignment a touch easier. Looks the runner in this field with the most upside and can run a big race while fresh. ENUFF PILLS (1) loves this track and trip only missing a drum once in nine attempts. Drawn to sit up on speed from the inside alley and will give backers a sight. SUPER ZAMBONI (5) has a win and a second from three starts over this sprint journey and is usually thereabouts. A must for the multiples. SHOWS A SIGN (2) goes well for hoop Tilley who has three wins and three placings from just ten steers. In the mix. I AM VOODOO (3) next in line. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 6,1,5,2. |

GREAT NORTHERN OPEN Handicap 1350m
Good tempo with several going forward, primarily Swiss Exile, Maximum Vortex and Atmosphere. SWISS EXILE (2) hasn't been too far away in tougher Listed races this preparation and will find this assignment much more to his liking. Strips fitter third-up from the break and gets a jockey upgrade in the form of Maloney in the stirrups. Will be right there when the judge calls a halt. ATMOSPHERE (1) has a win and a placing from two spins around this circuit and is usually about the money. Top-three candidate on best figures. DON PEDRO (7) saves his best form for this distance range and gets Thornton in the saddle. May earn some minor money. TREPORTI (8) best of the rest in a race with only a couple of chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Swiss Exile. |

GORDON'S GIN Maiden Handicap 1350m
Genuine tempo with Sexy Time leading the way. MISSISSIPPI DREAM (7) will be ready to peak now fourth run back and must be respected from the Vandyke barn. Maloney on board and shapes as one of the leading hopes. SEXY TIME (3) was well in the betting when facing the starter for the first time and where there's smoke there's fire. Can feature prominently from the favourable draw. RATENOTICE (12) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome at the latest outing but the three runs prior were good enough for this. Can bounce right back without surprising. AMAZARA (5) just missed the frame on debut and rounds out the selections in a competitive affair. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Mississippi Dream. |

BARRIER REEF POOLS BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 2160m
Deep Dawn to take charge ahead of Googaz at a good tempo. ENTERPRISE PRIVATE (4) returned in good order with a dominant Sunny Coast victory before just running into one better at Grafton last time out. Mallyon sticks in the saddle following that last start placing and should be right there when the whips are cracking. The well-related ALPINE KANDY (7) (half to G3 winner Double You Tee) has a handy record over this staying journey with a win and two placings from four attempts. Maps nicely for this from gate two and can make her presence felt. DEMARCAY (2) is on the doorstep of another win with consecutive runner-up finishes and gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim. In the mix. TEWKESBURY (3) doesn't win out of turn but has placed three of four over this trip and is a must for the exotics players. ALDEENAARY (1) is one from one over this course and distance and may run a big race while fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 4,7,2,3. |

SCHWEPPES BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1200m
Plenty of pace with Paballo and Daintree Dreaming up front, pressured by Alfa Lily and Field Agent. Looks a wide-open affair. REVITUP CHARLIE (9) is a consistent conveyance who has hit the top four in nine of her past ten starts and rarely puts in a poor one. Has placed three of four over this six-furlong journey and should be right there at the business end. MISS ZERMATT (7) has placed two from two over this course and distance and gets a stack of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. ALFA LILY (6) has a win and a placing from three attempts over this track and trip and rates a genuine top three contender on best form. The well-related COINCIDE (1) (half to 2xG1 winner Converge) is another to get some weight off and may earn a cheque. PRETTY RHO (8) next best from the favourable draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Revitup Charlie. |

LIVING TURF BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1680m
Expecting Flying Bat to take up the running with Enterprise Lassie and Yukanuma close at hand. Competitive contest. BENFICA LASS (13) has been thereabouts in all five starts this campaign and is more than capable enough on her day. Will be rock hard fit for this and a strong showing would not surprise. PELE PRINCESS (14) is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and is a two-time winner here. Looks a must for the exotics players. AUNTY RENE (6) gets 2kg off with the claim and will be ready to peak now. Top-three credentials. FLYING BAT (4) goes well for Vitler who has two wins from just three steers. Right in the mix. AUTUMNGIRL (12) rounds out the selections in a race decimated by key scratchings. SUGGESTED PLAY: Benfica Lass each-way. |

IPSWICH PARTY HIRE BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1350m
Solid tempo anticipated with Cansort heading them off. DARK ARTS (1) just ran into one better when resuming at the Sunny Coast and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Gets the services of Maloney in the irons from the inside alley and looks the one they all have to run down. NORTH COURT (5) is a last-start winner who draws well in gate two. Right in the mix in this contest. CANSORT (15) looked handy saluting on debut and will have derived a bunch of benefit from that day at the races. Can go right on with the job now. DETRIMENTAL (3) peaks third-up from the spell and looks one for the exotics players. SMART RECOGNITION (2) next in line with the claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning towards Dark Arts. |
