They look to roll along early with Taguig and Grecian Storm leading the charge. RENEGADE CHIEF (5) has built nicely into his debut prep and looks to be peaking now. Keeps Milnes aboard and from the kind draw gets the chance to settle closer. Ready to break through. JOHNNY THE JET (7) showed improvement last start at Balaklava when chasing gamely into midfield. Kept fresh with 35 days between runs and gets in light with the 3kg claim. Further improvement is expected and he can give this a shake. HOLDER MAID (9) was doing her best work late second-up at Strathalbyn. Interesting to see her dropping back in trip on the short turnaround. Worth monitoring. POWER PRIMO (10) continues to find it tough to break through but has some sound efforts scattered through her form. Drawn wide. One for the exotics.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Renegade Chief to win.

Plenty of pace from the outset with Grinzinger Gold and Stars Are Aligning leading the charge. OFFA’S DYKE (6) couldn’t quite deliver for supporters last time but looks to be hitting his straps now fourth-up. Milnes sticks from a good draw and she can get it done this time. GRINZINGER GOLD (8) was well fancied throughout her last campaign without breaking through. Has been prepared with three trials and should be forward from the low draw. Can make a bright return. STARS ARE ALIGNING (12) showed good tactical speed here fresh and fought hard to just miss. Sure to have come on from that and can give another bold sight. ARLO’S DREAM (1) improved sharply here last time when beaten narrowly. Has further improvement to come and is in the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Offa's Dyke to win.
3 02:15 Eco Clean Class One Plate 1750m
Good pace expected with Maheno, Shinohara and Melodia Legend paving the way. SHINOHARA (10) was a sharp improver here third-up last time when battling on gamely into a close fifth. Gets in light again and looks ready to land her second win. RAZELLA (9) was good when resuming at Clare but hasn’t really gone on with it. Gets weight relief with the 3kg claimer and the rise in trip should suit. DANORO PRINCE (1) only warmed to his task late here second-up. This trip suits third-up and if he can settle closer he’ll be hard to hold out. AGREEANCE (6) will find this easier but will likely be forced back from the wide draw. Expect her to be charging late. NOYERS (5) disappointed last time but was solid fresh. Worth another chance third-up over a more suitable journey.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Shinohara.

I Need A Drink, Sir Lord and Django Express can set up a solid gallop. I’M A DEXSTAR (1) relished the drop in grade here last time when just missing the bob to Sir Lord. Peaking now and gets a handy weight swing on the winner. Expecting him to get the job done. I NEED A DRINK (2) comes through the same race, sticking on gamely into third. Also meets the winner better this time and fitter now, he’s a genuine chance to turn the tables. SIR LORD (3) had their measure last time when arriving just in time but must lug an extra 2kgs. Still commands respect though the impost could prove telling. DIAMONDS ARE (6) made very light work of rivals when resuming at Ceduna. This is tougher but he gets in light with the claim and warrants consideration.  SUGGESTED PLAY: I'm A Dexstar to win.
5 03:25 Port Lincoln Hotel Benchmark 68 Handicap 1350m
Genuine tempo with Rialtor leading the way. THE WIRRULLA BOY (2) has built into this campaign nicely, beaten narrowly here last start in a blanket finish when favourite. Loves it at this venue and should be hitting his straps now, with Livesey reuniting a notable plus. THE GUAVA (3) doesn’t win out of turn but will appreciate the drop in grade. Had excuses last time when slow to recover and holds genuine claims on best form. LAVA LAD (5) is flying, bringing up the hat-trick here at his latest. The claimer sticks to keep him in well at the weights. Going too well to ignore and the added trip shouldn’t hinder. ALLOUVRE (4) is mixing her form but has peak performances that measure right up. All three wins have come at this journey. Don’t dismiss. RIALTOR (6) improved sharply last time at Lock when scoring by 2L. A distance specialist who can keep the ball rolling.  SUGGESTED PLAY: The Wirrulla Boy to win.
6 04:00 Eyre Car Centre Benchmark 72 Handicap 1210m
Solid tempo set by Tydeus and Chef De Mission. ELDERBERRY (2) returned with a bang here 12 days ago when making light work of her rivals over 1000m. Goes up in weight but strips fitter and should relish the added trip. Can make it two on the bounce. TYDEUS (1) couldn’t go with Elderberry here last time but stuck on gamely into second. Gets a handy pull at the weights now and is a five-time winner over this trip. Capable of turning the tables. JONQUEST (5) resumes after 581 days away. Likely to need the run but he does have fresh form and his recent trial was encouraging. Don’t underestimate. JINSOKU (4) was good first-up at Lock but poor in his two prior runs. Gets significant weight relief and a favourable draw, so is worth another chance.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Elderberry to win again.

Not much early pace and doubt they will go hard. LAPILLI (6) improved sharply second-up when sent forward from the wide draw and knuckled down to score here. Drawn much kinder this time and can keep the momentum rolling. ORIEDOS (7) was closing hard on Lapilli last time and gets a nice pull at the weights. Will likely drift back again but expect him to be charging late. DIADOCHOS (1) was dominant last start in similar grade. Goes up a kilo but draws well again and only needs to hold his form to be very competitive. SETTEVELI (2) hasn’t saluted for some time but is edging closer, with two strong recent efforts here. Draws to get the gun run for Milnes and deserves his chance. SASSY ANGEL (11) closed sharply behind Diadochos last time and is worth keeping in mind with the weight swing.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Lapilli to win again.
8 05:10 Burner Electrical Rating 0 - 56 Handicap 1350m
Genuine tempo from Sumadartson leading Funny Legs. STAR VALOUR (3) has returned in terrific order off a long break, winning fresh at Lock before producing two strong chasing efforts here. Peaking now and keeps the claimer engaged. Looks the one to beat. DIDWEWIN (10) has warmed to her task late in both runs back and will relish the added trip. Already a winner here and is expected to be right there at the business end. MIDNIGHT RULER (5) never looked likely when getting too far back last time but gets the chance to settle closer here and gets weight relief with the 3kg claimer engaged. Watch for sharp improvement. BULLS ON PARADE (9) also benefits from weight relief and should be hitting his straps third-up. Not to be dismissed lightly.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Star Valour to win.
