1 01:35 TABTOUCH SHARE MY BET MAIDEN 1100m
Moderate tempo with Dashing Diva leading the way. PYGMALION (3) looks to have found a suitable race on resumption on the back of a nice trial over 400m last month. He was narrowly beaten behind two smart ones last campaign and the inside barrier should see him prominent in the run. Looks well placed and can resume on a winning note. SALTY MISS (4) is another on resumption today and wasn't far away in Open 3YO company to finish last preparation. She'll be fitter for two trials coming into this and she was only narrowly beaten in a similar race when first-up last campaign. She appears the main danger. VIVALDA (6) just missed first-up at this track and trip before a 1.2L defeat at Bunbury last time out when out to 1200m. Back to this course and distance is a big tick, as is Parnham sticking with her. Should get her chance in the straight. GABEX (9) gets Pike in the saddle who sticks with her from her latest trial and she can play a role on debut. HYPERREAL (1) is better than he showed last start and is not to be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Pygmalion gets the nod.
2 02:10 PURSLOWE TINETTI FUNERALS MAIDEN 1000m
Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected. OSCARS NO GROUCH (4) has trialled impressively in readiness for this under Jason Whiting and looks ready to fire on debut. The inside draw should see him get every chance from the barrier. Looks a good maiden, but his trials suggest he's one of the leading contenders. BY THE WOOD (9) is an exciting prospect on debut, out of the G3 winning Perth mare Fabergino. Pike was on board for both trials, with her latest outing the most impressive when sitting close to the speed. Pike has options from the barrier and she appears the main danger. ROAMING AMERICA (5) has shown good signs at the trials for the Mack Hall stable and was only gunned down by a smart one in his most recent trial. Showed speed there, so if he can get across from the wide gate he'll give them something to chase. I'M A SOULMAN (3) just missed first-up in a strong performance and has winning claims on the back of that effort. VALANNE DAWN (6) trialled well coming in and is not to be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Oscars No Grouch can win on debut.
3 02:45 AVON VALLEY TOYOTA MAIDEN 1300m
Moderate tempo with My Huckleberry leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. WONDERFULLY MADE (13) showed good ability in her 2YO campaign when jumping a $10 chance in the Gimcrack before the spell. Her recent trial suggested she was on song, and we'll get a good line on that form in race 2. May need some luck from the draw, but she shouldn't be a maiden for too much longer. PROFOUND BENEFIT (1) just missed over this track and trip 21 days ago and the form out of that race worked out well. Pike remains in the saddle from his latest effort and that performance rates highly in this field. Can go one better this time. QUIET GODDESS (10) disappointed on debut at Pinjarra, though her trials either side of that run suggested she has good ability. She jumped favourite there and her trials this time in have been just as good. Can make a statement first-up. BUON AMICI (4) is some niggle off his recent trial, though his form last campaign stacks up. Keep safe. MY HUCKLEBERRY (8) can improve third-up and slightly up in trip.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Wonderfully Made can notch up his maiden victory.
4 03:20 NORTHAM CUP PACKAGES AVAILABLE THROUGH TRYBOOKING MAIDEN 1300m
Pace looks to be genuine with God's Grin and Safari Boy matching motors in advance of Rosentrea and Maurice's Princess. GOD'S GRIN (8) is knocking on the door of a maiden victory, finishing 0.4L off the winner as the favourite last time out. Barrier 13 is a query, but Pike remains in the saddle and she'll be fitter for the fresh run. Can build on the first-up performance and get the job done now. SPEAK OF THE DEVIL (1) comes through the same race as God's Grin, though he was a further 2 lengths behind that runner at Bunbury last time out. That effort still produced a solid rating and that looks like the key form reference for this. Appears the main danger off what we saw fresh. ROCK THE MIC (10) hit the line nicely in his latest trial and gets the blinkers on for his debut. Gaerth will have options from the draw and this trip first-up looks a good move. Can make his presence felt on debut. MAURICE'S PRINCESS (11) was good in her only run last campaign and is worth keeping safe despite a poor trial recently. DOBLE OH NADA (3) can bounce back following a disappointing performance last time out.  SUGGESTED PLAY: God's Grin can go one better this time around.
5 03:55 AFGRI EQUIPMENT HANDICAP 1600m
El Patron to take charge ahead of Saulok at a solid tempo. AGE OF GRACE (6) hit the line nicely first-up at Bunbury, clocking some nice splits late in the race when beaten 2.7L. Pike remains in the saddle as she rises to the mile second-up. Looks a good race for her off what we saw first-up and can land the knockout blow. OMERTA GRACE (2) was slowly away but turned in a strong effort when 3.9L off the winner last start at Bunbury off a long break. The form out of that race has already been franked and he's expected to have improved for that effort. Can land in a handy position and prove hard to hold out. SAULOK (5) may not have handled the Heavy track last start at Belmont but looks an improver third-up out to the mile. The claim of Nottle gets him in nicely at the weights and he'll give them something to chase from up front. EL PATRON (1) drops right back in grade today and rates a leading chance on his recent form. MOLLY'S MY PAL (8) is racing well and is not to be discounted on recent form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Age Of Grace finds the right race.
6 04:30 PROCON DEVELOPMENTS (AUST) NORTHAM CUP - SUNDAY 26 OCTOBER HANDICAP 1400m
Without a great deal of early pace evident Tassort We Want may lead the way over Toronado Rocket. TORONADO ROCKET (2) was far too good last start, landing midfield and running over the top of his rivals to score by 1.6L. The rise to 1400m doesn't look an issue and he's shown some adaptability this campaign. May need some luck from the barrier, but Pike sticks and he can bring up back-to-back wins. TASSORT WE WANT (8) was a good winner when sitting on the speed on the Fibre Sand at Bunbury 45 days ago. Up to this trip off a short break is a query, though he looks a very progressive type. Maps for a lovely run and it wouldn't surprise to see him bring up another victory. IDODOMYA (7) got all the way to the Oaks last campaign and showed plenty of ability. Short of her best trip here first-up, but she obviously has some class and Parnham hops on board. Can play a leading role on resumption. ZIPPY ZANY (5) is knocking on the door of another win and is not to be discounted. SHAULA (4) has to be included on recent form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Toronado Rocket to go back-to-back.
7 05:05 DEBORTOLI FAMILY WINEMAKERS HANDICAP 1100m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Swansee. PIN DEEP (1) showed plenty of improvement second-up at Belmont and is a course and distance winner in the past. He's never missed the placings third-up in his career and the claim of ZJP comes in handy. Can roll forward and give his rivals something to chase back on top of the ground. PRINCE (5) never got into the race last start after leading and winning a CL3 here two starts ago. Faithfull hops back in the saddle now and I expect him to settle close to the speed rather than out the back like he did last time out. Can bounce back to winning ways. SWANSEE (11) looks an exciting mare on resumption on the back of a very handy trial recently. Ramoly is in strong form of late and she too has some early speed from the inside barrier. Carries little weight and if she can resume in similar form, she'll be hard to hold out. THIS'LL SHOW YA (7) is racing well and won't be far away. MANTUA (3) can improve second-up with Pike in the saddle.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Pin Deep can get the job done in the last.
