NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:10 SCOBIE BREASLEY & STUART ANDERSON CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE 1600m
Genuine tempo from Yet Tobe A Cod leading Star Empire. HOT ONE (8) caught the eye last start at Echuca when coming from a long way back to finish midfield, only 1.6L away from the winner. Draws to take much closer order from the inside pillar and gets in well at the weights with the claim. Can get the job done. BRANNUM (2) broke through in determined fashion at Moruya last start, knuckling down strongest with Boudvillain aboard. Same rider sticks and he's well placed to go back-to-back. CARAVANSERAI (3) stuck on gamely into second at Moruya over the same trip. Best figures stack up and he looks a key danger. STAR EMPIRE (5) has missed the frame at his last couple but could improve sharply with the blinkers going on first time. Keeping safe. PEARL TROUT (9) is building fitness and looks ready to peak. Has a wide draw to overcome but can still figure.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Hot One to win.
2 01:45 HERITAGE MOTEL COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN PLATE 1400m
A solid tempo is anticipated with Carry On Lizzy and Demanda kicking up to hold out the next wave. BRUTAL BELLE (5) keeps finding one better but went down narrowly at Moruya last time. Deserves a change of luck and only needs to hold form to strike here. DOUBTFREE (2) is in the same boat, stringing together four straight placings including Wagga last start. Gets another golden chance to shed the maiden tag. SHOOTING FIRM (9) has had plenty of tries but Cahill knows him well and the claim is a good help. Capable of being in the finish again. REEF ROAD (4) has been inconsistent but at his best can match these and looks a live hope in a thin race. MISS EADIE (8) was fair on debut but flat at Canberra second-up. Keeping safe third-up.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Brutal Belle to win.
3 02:20 NXT SIGNS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1100m
Expecting Guetary to take up the running with Lovehunter and Instigate close at hand. WILL ONE (1) is a son of Rubick on debut and caught the eye with a stylish trial win on his home track. Looks forward enough to make an immediate impact. SURPRISATIC (2) closed off strongly first-up at Canberra when third after settling well back. The extra trip is ideal and he looms as the danger. FIRE CHAT (6) found the line well on debut at Gundagai. Freshened and could be storming late again. READY TO RUSH (3) debuts for the Matty Dale stable and showed ability with a Kembla Grange trial placing. Well drawn and looks set to run a race. RAINING VIOLETS (9) is by Casino Prince and arrives off a solid trial effort. Market watch advised.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Will One to win.
4 02:55 TWIN HILLS CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1200m
Plenty of pace from Shammy Express, Deekaygeebee and King Czar ahead of Carbrook. WRITTEN BY LUCY (5) pressed forward at Nowra and fought on bravely to be beaten only a head over this trip. Has enough early dash to get handy again and can get the job done. KING CZAR (8) resumes for the Stubbs yard and ended his last prep with two strong runs. Jump-outs have him forward enough and he commands plenty of respect fresh. HELLBERG (2) wasn’t quite at his best at Wodonga last time but is drawn well and can prove hard to run down. DEEKAYGEEBEE (6) has mixed form but his Wagga placing two back reads well. Capable of better. ROCCO LINI (3) chased gamely into third at Nowra first-up. Strips fitter, gets in well with the claim and should be competitive.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Written By Lucy but wary of King Czar.
5 03:30 VIRBAC COOTA PRODUCERS BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1200m
Slick pace with Whiskey George finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. KING INCANTO (2) rattled home to just miss the frame after drifting along way back when resuming at Tatura. Blinkers go on to sharpen him up and the added trip suits him perfectly. Bold showing expected. WHISKEY GEORGE (4) chases a hat-trick after two stylish pillar-to-post wins. Not that much tougher this time but does go up in the weights. Obvious danger. ASTUNNER (1) chased gamely into the placings when resuming at Gundagai and has been tuned up with a Wagga trial in-between. Carries the big weight but deserves respect. ROWDY ANTHEM (7) has been leaving himself with too much to do but possesses a sharp turn of foot on his day. Can give this a big shake if close enough when turning. TERESPRIT (11) will settle back but if the leaders go too hard and gaps open, she has the turn of foot to make things interesting.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing King Incanto to win.
6 04:05 RIVERINA FORD BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 1100m
Grande Bellezza, Sooo Crazy and Pleasurize to battle for the lead at a strong tempo. GRANDE BELLEZZA (8) wasn’t far away at Hawkesbury after racing on speed and returns to the country circuit where she thrives. With the draw to suit, she looks primed to bounce back to winning ways. PLEASURIZE (4) was dominant leading throughout at Leeton, taking her record to three wins from five. The claim offsets the weight rise and she rates as a major threat again. DOLLY (7) is a consistent mare resuming over a pet trip for the Spackman camp. Produced some strong efforts last campaign that measure right up for this. Sure to be involved in the finish if presented on-song. HELLINDA (10) lifted last start with a close second at Corowa and with Boudvillain back aboard is among the key chances. SUTTON VELLA (3) has been leaving herself with too much to do but a more positive ride could see sharp improvement.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Grande Bellezza to win.
7 04:40 CENTRAL HOTEL COOTAMUNDRA CUP 1600m
Solid tempo anticipated with Epaullo Creed taking charge. DUE CALZINI (5) returned to form with an easy Wagga win and has been kept fresh with a recent Goulburn trial. Drops back in trip but from the low draw he should press forward and prove tough to catch. COUNTY KILKENNY (2) doesn’t win often but excels at the trip. Freshened and back from city grade, he looks a big player if he brings his best. COPPERFIELD (1) is rock solid at this distance and rarely runs a bad race. Maps well and is right in the mix again. EPAULLO CREED (4) brings speed and ensures a genuine tempo. The mile is a query but he will give a sight. LAUREL HILL (3) has matching form lines and is one for exotics.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Due Calzini to win.
8 05:15 AUSTRALIAN MEAT GROUP COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1400m
Geostorm and Cosmic Ride possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. LUNA ANGEL (5) is flying, coming off back-to-back strong chasing wins. Backs up quickly and will appreciate the genuine tempo. Expect her to be bursting through again. COSMIC RIDE (4) has been rock-solid for the Pepper stable, maps well from a favourable draw, and is sure to be prominent. SOUTHERN DANCER (3) resumes and while she will improve as the prep unfolds, this is a suitable starting point. Expected to settle off the pace and finish strongly. SAINT LOFT (6) returned in winning fashion last start and, although drawn wide, comes into this fitter and deserves respect. SUNDROP (2) steps up in grade but is racing well and should not be underestimated.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Luna Angel to win.
