Race 1 1200m
FAIRY ON ICE (2) could not have been more impressive last start, storming clear for a dominant seven-length maiden win over 1400m at Nagoya. Draws kindly again and looks the one they all have to beat. COSMO EN EN (10) showed good early speed last start over 1500m at Nagoya, sticking on well for second. Despite the wide alley he has the pace to cross and should give another bold sight. SALT MIRACLE (7) returned in good style at Urawa when finishing third over 1400m after racing on the pace. Easier assignment here makes him a genuine winning hope. GREIG UN (6) resumes off a 12-week break for a new yard. Much easier than Tokyo company last prep and could surprise fresh. |

Race 2 1000m
A tricky race to assess with a field of juveniles stepping out. MORGENROTE (2) debuts for the Y Yano stable, a filly by New Year’s Day out of Bokuno Naomi. The booking of high-percentage rider Yoshihara catches the eye and a bold introduction is anticipated. LIGHT CURTAIN (6) represents the sharp Takashi Harita yard, a colt by Reach The Crown from Rabbit Farrell. Well bred and expected to make his presence felt. MON BIJOU (8), a filly by Eishin Flash from Spine Di Rosa, is another debutant who commands respect for the Katsuo Ishii team. Any market support would be significant. MINO CHARME (3) is by Beach Patrol from Ferris Wheel, with winning bloodlines suggesting she can play a big role first-up. |

Race 3 1000m
Another testing race with a line-up of first-starters. LIVRE MAN (4) debuts for the Y Yano stable, a colt by Dee Majesty out of Bonus Chance. Connections have secured leading rider Yoshihara, which is a big push for his chances. Looks primed to make a bold impression. M ONE WORKS (6) is a colt by Happy Sprint from Yes Or No for the Masato Hayashi yard. Nicely bred and expected to measure up, especially if the market shows support. ORCHIDEA ROSSA (1), by Four Wheel Drive, debuts for the in-form Nobuhiro Yamada team and must be kept safe. BEST POSITION (2) is by Apollo Kingdom and represents the flying Masakazu Kawashima barn. Betting moves will tell the story but deserves respect. |

YAMATAKE KOCHAN (8) returned from a break with a midfield effort over 1400m at Urawa, racing on the speed before tiring. Strips fitter and is capable of better. Race 5 1200m
KITASAN RISER (11) resumed from a spell last month in stronger company at Chukyo Dirt and was never a factor, but he strips fitter and now finds a much more suitable assignment back at this level. Capable of sharp improvement and looks well placed to break through. AMMIRAZIONE (12) hasn’t fired in her last couple, the latest a plain effort over this trip at Chukyo, but she strikes easier opposition today and is expected to play a leading role. YET TO COME (5) has been below par at his last two but drops in grade and should show more here. ECORO LUCINA (7) disappointed when resuming firm in the market last start but will be fitter and could hit the line late with luck. |

Race 6 1200m
TOKUSHI KAGUYAHIME (4) showed good fight last start when leading into the straight and sticking on for second over this track and trip. She has yet to score here at the journey but is ultra-consistent, never missing the frame in three attempts, and maps to get a soft run just behind the pace. Hard to hold out. HARPY BLOSSOM (11) resumes after four months and has shown she can fire fresh, having placed over this course and distance when kicking off her last campaign. Must be respected. NOT IN THE EYE (9) also returns from a break and is more than capable of featuring on her best form. CRISP OF WAR (5) has been knocking on the door and finds a winnable race. |

Race 7 1500m
Competitive affair with upside runners engaged. BAILA NOCHE (5) impressed on debut when controlling the race from the front to score as favourite over 1200m here two months ago. Shapes as the one they all have to beat again. TOKYO ANNA (9) was dominant when breaking her maiden last start at this track and gives the impression there is plenty more to come. Lightly raced and looks a major player. AIREENA (11) showed her rivals a clean set of heels when leading all the way here last time. Another positive ride is expected and she will take catching. HISAMA AMOUR (12) closed off stylishly for third on debut. With natural improvement she appeals as a genuine value hope. |

Race 8 1200m
HEROIC BIO (6) was far from disgraced last start when finishing close-up in fifth over this course and distance after working from a wide alley. Much better drawn today and expected to be in the thick of things late. MAKETARA AKAN (5) hit the line strongly when runner-up last time over 1400m at Urawa. That effort suggested he is close to a breakthrough and he looks one of the main hopes in this field. SEINE WARRIOR (3) struggled to get into the race last outing but is capable of sharp improvement from a better setup. Top-three claims are strong. DERMA NEKODAMASHI (4) has been knocking on the door for some time and was not far away in fourth last start. Don't dismiss. |

Race 9 1200m
DREAD (1) resumes after a three-month break and looks a major force on his return. Hard to knock and will take beating. SAMMARU SHIP (6) returned in fine style when scoring decisively over this course and distance first-up. Faces a sterner test now but has the talent to measure right up again. QUATTRO FONTE (10) has been working towards a win and closed well into second here last time. The booking of Takayuki Yano is a plus. BELLWOOD ONE (7) was below his best at Ohi last start but can bounce back. |

Race 10 1600m
SEHR SCHNELL (10) returns from a nine-week break and commands respect. A winning machine with six straight victories, the latest over 1800m here, he has the early speed to dictate and prove very hard to reel in. BOUNCELIGHT (9) is another progressive type who has returned in sparkling form with two strong wins this campaign, both at this track and trip. Retains Masashige Honda and the partnership looks primed to strike again. DORA KEN (5) was below his best when midfield at Ohi last start but this is a clear drop in class, making him a live danger if he produces his top form. IMAO TOKIMEKU (2) stuck on bravely for third at Ohi and is perfectly placed to feature. |

She dominated last time and looks ready to fire again, especially over this suitable trip. PROMISED GENE (5) is a progressive three-year-old filly resuming from a three-month spell, having won her last start over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. She has never missed the frame fresh from a break in three attempts, and Keita Tosaki remains aboard. SAVONLINNA (8) tackled the Shion Stakes over 2000m at Nakayama last start, finishing ninth, but has the early speed to be prominent and should give a bold sight.
