NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:15 GOOD LUCK SAM CLENTON @ EQUIMILLION MAIDEN HANDICAP 900m
Hayek is the likely leader at a keen tempo. UNCLE BARRY (2) made significant progress last start when second-up from a six-month spell, charging home late only to miss by a whisker over 1000m at Kembla. Coming back in trip is the only query but off a hot tempo he should be strong through the line again. KISSAVOS (5) has enjoyed a five-week let-up since a luckless return over 1100m at Gosford. Shuffled back mid-race then took a while to get clear in a forgive run. Three winners have come from that contest so the form reads well. Can make his mark. HAYEK (3) returns from a 159-day break. Showed abundant speed in the two runs of his maiden prep, tiring late to miss the placings on each occasion. Trialling well and over this sharp trip will be very hard to catch. NAMI'S JEWEL (7) resumes. Led only to be nailed late first-up last prep over this course and distance. Two recent trials should have her forward enough to produce a similar effort. BARSANDBI (4) can feature first-up with the help of an ideal draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Uncle Barry can cause an upset.
2 01:50 GOOD LUCK SANDIE WANT @ EQUIMILLION SUPER MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected. PRIZE WITNESS (13) is a Shamus Award filly on debut for the Kris Lees stable. Trial form hasn't been electric but that won't matter come race day. Huge odds in early markets and worth a throw at the stumps in a moderate affair. Speedy mare MY PROCLAMA (2) made it three minor placings from three career runs when she found a couple better at the end of 1300m at Hawkesbury recently. Back a little in trip and the blinkers go on which might be just enough to give her the edge. GREEN SPRING (7) resumes. Heavily supported at both runs in the maiden prep but finished runner-up each time. Finds a soft race today so he has come up short again. Expect a bright return. MAID OF MOOLAH (1) is back after an 18-week lay-off. Consistent performer last prep at the provincials and in town. Has trialled twice in September so should be ready to hit the ground running. PONTEVEDRA (10) is a first starter for Messara/Gavranich. Half-brother to Blue Diamond winner Tagaloa. Trialling like a good colt.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing a couple at odds - Prize Witness and My Proclama.
3 02:25 NEW ERA TECHNOLOGY MAIDEN HANDICAP 1500m
Lady Pankhurst to take up the running at a moderate tempo. COLUMBUS (2) got a fair way back before winding up late to finish third in an impressive debut over 1400m at this track a couple of weeks back. Cost $1.5 million as a yearling so expectations will be high. Great chance to break through over this slightly longer journey. LUPA CAPITOLINA (8) ran a better race last time out when lining up for only the second time, making a little late ground to finish a close fifth over this trip at Kembla. Can improve again and play a major role. IRONHEART (4) was prominent on straightening but couldn't finish off when fifth in the same race as Columbus here recently. Lightly raced and can do more. HELL ISLAND (6) has struggled on wet decks in his three starts to date. Was well supported last time - may have more to offer on a good track. LADY PANKHURST (1) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and can finish this off strongly with a cosy passage from an inside gate assured.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Columbus.
4 03:05 DAVALI THOROUGHBREDS CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1500m
Genuine pace with Bondi Prophet taking up the running ahead of Champagne Hero and Nay Pee Cee. SQUEEZEBOX (1) was excellent first-up at Wyong then might have been a bit flat when easily accounted for in third over this distance at Kembla last start. Fitter now so expect a bit more resilience. KONING (5) raced on the pace but couldn't maintain the pressure when resuming over 1200m at Kembla last time out. More at home over this sort of trip second-up and he does race well at Newcastle. EMILIA JANE (6) has settled rearwards and made some late impression in her two runs this prep, both over much shorter journeys. Watch for a much better performance this time over a bit more ground. ERINA (4) appreciated the step up in distance last start when a game third over 1400m at Kembla. Has only raced three times and is open to plenty of improvement. NAY PEE CEE (9) hasn't been far off them in his three runs this time in work. Peaking now.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Squeezebox to win.
5 03:40 THE ADVISER COLLECTIVE MIDWAY BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 900m
Stratafy and No Statement possess good early speed. CES SOIREES LA (5) has been struggling of late in Midways over 1200m, the latest at Rosehill 19 days ago. Has raced here three times for two wins, one of them over today's journey. Finds a nice race to bounce back to form. NO STATEMENT (1) worked across from a wide gate to lead but couldn't finish the race off last time out over this course and distance. Down in class today and draws a little better. Five-time winner over 900m here so he must be considered. SUPER ZIPPI (3) raced handy but showed nothing in the run home in a poor performance last start at Hawkesbury. Goes well for Jess Taylor who is back aboard. Worth another chance coming back in trip. SINGING STAR (7) made it five top-three finishes on the trot when an eye-catching third over 1000m at Muswellbrook recently. Nicely drawn and should be about the mark again. WELCOME GYPSY (4) has a strong record here at this distance and is drawn to enjoy the perfect run.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Ces Soirees La each-way.
6 04:20 A-PLUS CONTRACTING & POLY WELDING PROVINCIAL BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1850m
From the inside gate Cassie's Lad can show speed with Prince Of Arendell and Alabama Blitz prominent. EARTH DANCE (1) has changed stables and been given a freshen up since a poor effort over 2100m at Gosford five weeks ago. Best form is good enough so while fresh he can play a role at big odds. FIGHTING MAGNUS (11) surrendered an early lead and was just plain from there in a BM66 over 2100m at Tuncurry recently. Better placed back to this trip - another one at a juicy quote who can do a lot better. MAH ALI (8) has been about the mark in her last three runs, most recently when runner-up over the mile at Canberra. Not a prolific winner but should be in the frame somewhere. UNCLE HARRY (9) worked home late when resuming over 1500m here a fortnight ago. Will appreciate this step up in trip and is worth including. OCEANFRONT (5) has been freshened up and can continue the steady form he has displayed all prep.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Earth Dance each-way.
7 04:55 DAILEY FAMILY FUNERALS BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1200m
Pace genuine with Cool Storm and Wangi Wangi pressing hard closely followed by Tonkatsu Goddess and Bonjour Madame. WANGI WANGI (11) won on debut at Gosford then didn't have a lot of peace up front and tired late to finish fourth last start over this distance at Kembla. Tim Clark going on today is a positive move. Sure to give backers a great sight. DUSTY BAY (10) hasn't been beaten far in his two runs this prep, the latest a game third here at this trip in a Class 1. Drawn to enjoy a sit behind a strong tempo and he will be tough to hold out. TONKATSU GODDESS (1) comes here off a six-week let-up. Raced very well through the winter at the provincials, relishing the heavy tracks. Recent trial winner who should be forward enough to run well, although she may be less effective on top of the ground. ALIGNED (7) just missed in a thriller over 1250m here last start. Appreciated getting back in a firmer track that day and can go on with it. The speedy COOL STORM (3) can improve dropping back to the provincials.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Giving Wangi Wangi another chance.
8 05:30 NZB READY TO RUN 12 & 13 NOV CONDITIONAL BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP 1300m
Solid tempo with Scorched Lane leading from Desi Emperor and My Shalom. Not a big field but the toughest race of the day. Handy gelding SONOFDEC (2) returned with a narrow but impressive win over 1200m at Kembla last start, driving through a gap late to just prevail. The winner of two from four when second-up so expect the good form to continue. SCORCHED LANE (7) led but couldn't hold out Sonofdec and couple of others when resuming over 1200m at Kembla recently. Led all the way to win second-up last prep over 1200m at Cranbourne. Sure to prove harder to reel in this time around. THUNDERING SOUL (5) has a couple of recent near misses to his name including a long neck defeat here two back. Back on a dry surface today and should be highly competitive. ECLAIR ENCORE (6) has not raced since failing in the Queensland Oaks in June. Won a recent trial here and is smart enough to test this field while fresh. COOL LAD (12) returned to form with an eye-catching effort over this course and distance last start. In the mix again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Sonofdec each-way.
