NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:14 SWAN DRAUGHT PLATE 1200m
Many of these youngsters step out for the first time so a frantic pace early on is likely. MOHEGAN RULER (7) is a half-brother to a couple of smart ones on debut for the Grant and Alana Williams and William Pike. He's been impressive in his two trials in readiness for today and he looks to have plenty of ability. Ticks plenty of boxes and can salute on debut. DECISION MAKER (3) just missed when running on well from midfield on debut, beaten a lip in a blanket finish. The winner has run well since in Saturday grade and while he was 40-1 on debut, a repeat of that effort will see him go close to winning. SHOOT TO FAME (8) finished just behind Decision Maker last time out and has to be included. He can be much closer from the inside draw this time and with improvement expected, he's sure to be there when the whips are cracking. POWER PRINCESS (9) stormed home from back last start and has to be included. COONDLE (1) can improve getting back out in trip and is not to be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Mohegan Ruler can get the job done on debut.
2 01:49 TABTOUCH SCAN MY BET HANDICAP 1200m
Expecting Diamond Light to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. MAGNACHINE (1) ran home strongly last start to just miss at Belmont and draws a better gate this time around. The filly should be hitting her peak now third-up and Chris Parnham replacing the apprentice is a positive sign. Third-up winner last campaign and can do the same this time in. EN PLEIN AIR (2) has been well fancied in all three runs to date, only going down by 1L in a tougher race most recently. Chanel Cooper hops on board claiming 3kg, but she should get every chance from the inside alley. Still an improving type who can put her best foot forward. Pike hops off En Plein Air to ride DIRTY CHAI (7) who is on resumption for the Dan and Ben Pearce yard. Her recent trial was superb and she is a fresh winner in the past. Worth noting Pike opting to stick with her from the trials and she can be in the finish first-up. ILGIRO DELMONDO (8) has been close on a few occasions and is worth including. DIAMOND LIGHT (3) is better than she showed last start and can bounce back.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Magnachine can go one better this time.
3 02:24 STATEWIDE TURF SERVICES MAIDEN 1800m
Solid tempo anticipated with Blow Back heading them off. BLOW BACK (4) has been close throughout his debut campaign, finishing just 1.5L off the winner most recently over 1700m at Belmont. CJP remains with the 3YO who can make his own luck up on the speed, The slight rise in trip may suit and he rates highly in this suitable event. KILLARNEY (2) pressed on to sit closer last start after being caught wide and without cover early on, but faded badly shortly after straightening. The winkers replace the blinkers and he's expected to bounce back now fourth-up into the campaign. Best form will see him hard to hold out. KEGGS LATER (3) finished behind Blow Back last time out when 3L behind the winner. He steps out to this distance for the first time though and Steve Parnham takes the ride this time around. Can be in the finish once again. LE GRAND JEU (1) is on the 6-day turnaround today and has claims.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Blow Back can shed the maiden tag.
4 03:00 TOTAL PLANT HIRE HANDICAP 1600m
Expecting Canggu to take up the running. I DREAMED A DREAM (6) comes through the Belmont Guineas where he wasn't disgraced, beaten 3.5L at the finish. While that effort stands out, his form prior stacks up nicely in this event which is much easier than his last three outings. Can return to winning form. CANGGU (7) was swallowed whole shortly after straightening last start, finishing near the tail of the field. Faithfull has a great record when riding the 3YO and she hops back in the saddle this time. The rise back to the mile suits and he can turn his form right around. MIRO (3) is an improving type who will be improved for the fresh run. Include. IHTSAKING (2) is better than he showed last start and can bounce back.  SUGGESTED PLAY: I Dreamed A Dream gets the nod.
5 03:35 TABTOUCH SAME RACE MULTI HANDICAP 1200m
Solid tempo set by He's Gold and Little Silver who are both capable of leading. OUTFIELD (2) was a dominant winner first-up before taking on Saturday grade last time out and coming up 2.4L short. Back to the midweeks is a big tick and she can take up the running once again. Back to 1200m looks to suit and a return to winning ways is on the cards. CAPTAIN SHARMANE (6) made an impression in her first run for the stable, finishing 0.4L off the winner in a Cl5 at Northam. She does trend to dip second-up, but she was right up to her best fresh and she's sure to go close again if she can hold her form. LITTLE SILVER (4) gets the blinkers on first time after a 4.1L defeat at Belmont last start. Back to 1200m is a niggle, though he is drawn well and should be about the speed. Can put his best foot forward. HE'S GOLD (5) is better than he showed in Saturday grade last time out and will appreciate this easier level. ESTIMATOR (3) drops back to midweek company and warrants plenty of respect.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Outfield can get back to winning ways.
6 04:10 ALCOA SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY HANDICAP 1200m
Moderate pace with Uukhai taking up the running ahead of I'm Nipote and Red Flora. UUKHAI (3) bumped into a smart one two back before a big win last time out on the main course here 13 days ago. He looks a nice horse on the way up, just starting to hit his straps. He can cross from the wide alley and he should be getting the job done if he can run up to his latest effort. HE'S ARCHIE (6) disappointed at Belmont last time out following a narrow defeat two back. CJP hops back in the saddle this time and he can be close from the draw this time around. Can give the top pick something to think about. I'M NIPOTE (1) bounced back last start at Belmont and is on the 7-day turnaround today. He's ratings say he's still improving and with a solid run last start under his belt, he can make his presence felt. KIA ORA TATOU (2) disappointed last time out but showed he was much better than that first-up. Can bounce back. LOT HO (8) has trialled well recently and won't be far away on resumption.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Uukhai can win again.
7 04:45 ROWDYCOOL AIR HANDICAP 1800m
Genuine pace with Angel's My Name taking up the running ahead of Mong Khon and Beau Talk. LOVA SESSION (3) has played the bridesmaid role throughout this campaign, finishing 0.8L off the winner most recently. She drops back to Wednesday grade today though and Pike sticks from a favourable alley. Been close all campaign and now gets her chance to cross the line first. SNIP'S ROCK (11) was an impressive winner over the mile on this track two back before a 4.4L defeat at Northam last start. Getting back to this track should suit and the wide draw won't hurt his chances. Can put his best foot forward. BAY STREET (12) is ticking along nicely this campaign and will again relish the rise in trip. Big tick with Chris Parnham taking the ride. BAMBUN BOY (2) can go close if he runs up to his latest effort.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Lova Session can be the bride this time around.
