JO NOVELISTA (7) kept coming to finish on the winner's heels last start at this track as the favourite. Expect another bold run. MONT SAINT PRIMO (6) is fitter for two runs back from a break. Turned in a better effort last time when fourth over 1400m at this track and won't be far away here.

Rates highly and should take some beating. HANUMAN (6) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1400m at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. EIYU SWEET (9) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only sixth over 1400m at this track. Osamu Shimohara has registered four minor placings when on board. Certainly one to consider. HO O PRECIOUS (3) turned in another moderate effort last start when sixth over 1400m at this track at the second run back from a spell. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.

Well-placed and is going to prove tough to run down. Rates highly on best figures and can bounce back. MAPLE CAPTAIN (12) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fifth over 820m here last time. One of the main contenders. GETTING OUT (6) finished ninth at his most recent appearance over 1400m at this track. Back in trip and worth including in this suitable contest.
