NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:00 SUPERIOR TURF MAIDEN HANDICAP 1000m
Slick tempo set by Cellina Di Nardo and Are Ee Que. Waterhouse-Bott-trained CELLINA DI NARDO (1) was spelled following a heavily-bet placing at Nowra on debut. She resumes owning two sharp Randwick trials and will be naturally improved. She can run along and prove tough to roll. ARE EE QUE (4) had good support at Newcastle first-up but things didn't work out on the heavy track. She's been kept up to the mark with a big Randwick trial win. Has shown enough to say she's a chance. ROSE GOLD (9) threatened in provincial contests last preparation. She's trialled solidly at Randwick and will have come on. She may be presented more forward this time around. MYTHICAL MOOCHI (2) resumes and has pieces of form that would see him very competitive. Just missed in a recent Warwick Farm trial suggesting he's ready to go.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Cellina Di Nardo on what we've seen.
2 12:35 HORIZON FINANCE GROUP CLASS 1 HANDICAP 900m
Plenty of early speed across the line. DUKE OF BRONTE (1) is a leader who had been threatening at the provincials before delivering a big Maiden win at Moruya heavily bet. That was his first outing for the local Matt Dale yard. He draws to advantage and Heywood sticks aboard. He is on a 7-day return and can take the next step. YUKAN ROSE (3) was a comfortable Maiden winner first-up and has been within range in her two starts since. She's suited and can fight out the finish. AMIGOS NO MORE (2) resumed in good order with a placing at Kembla Grange. He's been a late scratching since and is back after 38 days. He's a hope if presented in good order. ANINI (6) resumes and won her Maiden at this track over 1000m posting a strong relative figure She led and placed in a Kembla Grange 64 two starts back and has to be kept onside.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Duke Of Bronte to win.
3 01:10 BRISBANE MEADOWS STUD COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
Ken'ker should lead a strong tempo. The sharp Matt Dale yard holds the aces. THOUGHTFUL (7) debuts owning an 800m trial win here. An inside barrier will advantage and Heywood sticks. A bold run is likely. Stablemate KEN'KER (4) resumes and threatened twice last preparation. He will be naturally improved and Bensley stays aboard. The late betting will be key with this pair. JAZZ ALL KNIGHT (11) resumes and brings the best figures. She can use the rail and has trialled solidly at the track. She's been away 250 days but will have come on. DRESSEL (3) resumes and has switched from the Waller yard. May need the outing but he rates well and Collett is a positive booking.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Thoughtful looks to have plenty of ability.
4 01:50 CAMPBELL PETROLEUM DISTRIBUTORS BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 2145m
Genuine tempo with Dubai Showgirl to lead. Neasham-trained ALPINE KANDY (9) just missed when jumping to this distance range at Muswellbrook and is proven third up. She has plenty up the sleeve and maps for a soft run. Rates best and tough to beat. VICTORY ROLL (5) is promising and belted a CL1 field here by 3.3L stepping up to this trip. He will be fitter again and is sure to go close. ONEFORIAN (4) brings solid form from the Canberra poly. He is back in grade and tackles a middle distance for the first time. Races forward and is in the mix. Ditto KNIGHTS ARMOUR (1) who peaks off a 1L defeat from Wagga in much stronger. Has to carry more weight but has earned it.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Alpine Kandy rates best.
5 02:25 ELITE HAULAGE BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 1200m
Epaullo Creed and Able Red can run the small field along. SUPER NORWEST (7) was spelled off a 2L defeat at Randwick in a Highway and resumed there at the same level with an equally solid effort. She's won a trial here since and is proven second-up. The one to beat. BEST INTENT (2) found a Metro 72 too tough third-up but was building nicely into that. She can position forward and the 3kg claim brings her right into it. ABLE RED (8) resumes and has switched from a Sydney yard. He's proven fresh and has looked sharp in his recent trials. Won't have to be much improved to make the finish. CHOP THE ICE (6) will be better suited back to a sprint and he has pieces of form that would give him a chance.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Super Norwest.
6 03:25 WORKLOCKER GOULBURN BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1000m
Miss Boom Boom can lead a solid tempo. Competitive. PENITENT (6) resumed here in a CL2 narrowly beaten and then didn't finish it off at Kembla Grange beaten 2.8L. She will be better for that and is back in grade. This suits. MISS BOOM BOOM (7) resumes and has switched from the Neasham barn in Queensland. The speed-bred mare has trialled well at Wyong and will run along from the low barrier. Her best is good enough. PRETTY VEGAS (1) can show more third-up. She flies around here and has a handy 3kg claim in easier grade. Draws to advantage and will give a sight. HEAVENLY PROPHET (11) found her best form beaten a nose at Gundagai. She has weight relief at this level and Penza is a positive jockey booking. She'd be a chance holding the form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Penitent.
7 03:40 GOULBURN AUSTRALIA MAIDEN PLATE 1600m
Devil Rider can push forward. SWEET PROPOSAL (11) peaks off placings at Warwick Farm and Hawkesbury. She was heavily bet last time stepping up to 1500m. Maps for a soft run and the Neasham barn hase scratched a fancied stablemate. The one to beat. WEBEJAMIN (12) went well here first-up and then spiked her figures beaten a nose at Hawkesbury. That stacks up and she gives every indication the mile will suit. A player as well. ANNOINT (1) just missed at Newcastle and has more to give over this distance. Maps well and will be around the mark. The former Victorian was much better at Wagga and is also a trifecta hope.  SUGGESTED PLAY: With Sweet Proposal.
8 04:20 KIRK'S BRIDGE FARM COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1400m
From the wide stall Trezzamina can cross and lead. Tough. THE FAVORITE SON (4) deserved the Maiden win and then improved again beaten a nose at Scone at this level. Maps for a soft run and can bounce back. TREZZAMINA (6) led and won her Maiden comfortably at Moruya over this distance. Has the speed to clear the wide gate and Penza sticking aboard is a positive. SYCAMORE (3) needs a good ride but is proven fresh and has trialled well. SUPER VIEW (9) will be fitter and the Canberra galloper is going well enough to consider.  SUGGESTED PLAY: The Favorite Son appeals most.
