Claim helps again and has top-three prospects. NATURE BOY (3) relished the rise in distance when returning to form for a gritty third over 2100m at this track on June 21. Gets weight relief with the claim again and brings sound figures. MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN (5) racing in career best form and will relish the drop in grade. 2	12:55	SHAY BRENNAN CONSTRUCTIONS BENCHMARK 74 HANDICAP 1000m Koondeeman, Bomarea and I'm Not Slew to match motors but there will be plenty of pressure from other quarters. BOMAREA (6) resuming in easier company after racing well in town last prep. Taken to the front and nailed late when a narrow third over 1000m at Randwick in Highway grade on March 2. Undefeated first-up and since fitted with a recent 1000m trial at Beaumont Newcastle. Gets in light with the claim and will take catching. GOLD LOVER (7) races well on her home track and returned to form with a plugging second over 1000m at Dubbo on June 7. Gets map favours and can figure prominently. I'M NOT SLEW (5) consistent mare who was sent straight to the front and never headed when a 1.2 len winner over 1000m at Scone on June 23. Can win again despite rising in grade. SHAMATON (2) returns from a layoff of four-and-a-half months and will appreciate this easier assignment. Failed to run on when sixth to Millane over 1200m at Eagle Farm in BM78 company on February 17. Fitted with one trial and the 3kg claim is a bonus. Keep safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bomarea to win.

Anchored with the 59kg when fourth over 1300m at Scone on June 23. Backs-up quickly and finds a fairly weak maiden. APACHE JACK (1) only the two runs back and improvement is expected after finishing a plugging seventh over 1300m at Scone on June 23. This looks easier and gets his chance from the low draw. GOTTA FLY (2) fifth-up today and finally draws a decent gate. Had to work hard early when a gritty fourth over 1200m here on June 21. Will go forward and take catching. Sure to be strong over the closing stages. ALERTADO (8) got off the mark at start nine with a well-deserved maiden win over this course and distance on June 28. Backs-up quickly and returned good figures at the latest. COOL MAN (2) heavily supported on debut when a smart winner over 1010m at Murwillumbah on June 10. Clearly has upside and the 1200m shouldn't pose a problem. OFF THE PRESS (4) returned for second prep with an even eighth over 1100m at Scone on June 11. STARANE (2) kicked off the campaign with a win two runs ago. Up in grade at latest when had no luck from the wide draw finishing seventh over 1100m at Dubbo on June 19. Can sneak into the minor money. SLUSH FUND (19) resumes today from a lengthy break. Showed ability last time in and fitted with two searching 1000m trials. Stays in the mix. HOPE UNO (4) is backing up seven days after finishing a sound second over 1650m at Moruya. Undefeated this track and will handle the rise in grade. APPLE CIDER (8) has his hoof on the till and will appreciate a firmer track today. Almost a month between runs when sat on the speed before tiring to run third over 1600m at Narromine on June 24. Hard fit now and looks up to this stronger contest. THE GREAT ARMADA (16) turned his form around quickly when a dominant 1.5 len winner over 1600m at Narromine on June 24. Both wins have come over this trip and gets his chance from the good gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 9,4,8,16.
8	04:40	TAMWORTH CITY TOYOTA MAIDEN PLATE 1000m Cashmere Inn has good gate speed and should be able to cross and take the lead. OCTAVIAN TREASURE (8) has fitness on her side third-up and senior rider on for this. Strong through the line when second over 900m at Newcastle on June 15. This looks easier and will just need a bit of luck from the gate. REMBROY (4) returned from a five-month break with a plugging fifth over 1000m here on June 21. Fitter now and has a good record on his home track. No excuses from the draw. POWER BEAU (3) resuming for the Warren Brown yard after doing all his racing in Victoria. Back for second prep and returns without a trial. Finds a fairly weak maiden and market moves must be closely monitored. LULA RONICA (7) resumes for local yard after failing to fire in her first prep. Since fitted with a recent trial win over 800m and gets the lugging-bit added. SUGGESTED PLAY: Octavian Treasure to win.
