SEPTEMBER FLOWER (5) has produced two good efforts to date. She lost two lengths leaving the start last time but stayed on well to finish second of 10. The daughter of One World is a progressive type and if jumping on terms, she should go one place better. CAPE FLOWER (2) set the pace over 1200m last time but found one too good on the day. The blinkers seem to have done the trick and with the services of a 4kg claiming apprentice has each-way claims. OVER THE ATLANTIC (4) showed good improvement in her last start over 1000m on this course. She showed good pace but found one too good on the day. If confirming her recent improvement, she should be figuring in the finish. BLUEBERRY BLUE (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 8 lengths into fifth. Better than recent efforts would suggest. |

KING OF QUEEN (1) has finished second in all of her last five starts, including last time out when beaten a neck at Fairview over 1400m. Great chance to score. MAGIC PRINCE (3) finished fourth of eight at his most recent outing over 1200m at Greyville All Weather. Likely to be in the finish in this suitable assignment. HAT HOT HAT (2) finished third of seven at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1400m at Fairview, finishing 11th of 12. Finds a nice race and can bounce back to form. COLONEL GREEN (4) is a genuine type with two minor placings from three starts this time in work. Turned in another good effort last time out when third over 1200m at this track. Each-way chance. |

PORTCULLIS (4) made progress last time out when finishing third 1600m at Fairview. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. TAKE A MULLIGAN (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better on the day over 2000m at Fairview, beaten only a nose. Looks well placed so expecting another big run. ISLAND MASTER (1) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 2200m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. PETTEIA (3) raced well below his best last time when sixth over 2200m at this track. Open to improvement and should be finishing in the money |

DUKE OF ORANGE (7) is putting together some solid results. Finished second of nine at this track two starts back then scored by 0.8 lengths last time out over 1300m at this track. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. WILLIAM THE FIRST (3) returned from a spell a week ago when he was beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth over 1200m at Fairview. Has never missed the placings at the second run back. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BYTHELITEOFTHEMOON (6) was far from disgraced when fourth last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. That followed a win at Fairview the start prior. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is right in contention. EYJAFJALLAJOKULL (2) returned from a spell five weeks ago when he was beaten 7 lengths into 10th over 1200m at Fairview. Fitter this time and has each-way claims. |

YOU WIN AGAIN (4) resumes from a spell. She was in great form at the end of the last prep with back-to-back wins, the latest over 1400m at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Best figures should see her run well. ENCHANTED SKY (3) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell, finishing sixth and beaten 5 lengths over 1000m at Fairview. Goes very well here having never been out of the placings. Expect her to play a major role. RED SASH (2) switches to synthetic for the first time. Finished in the money first-up two runs back and followed that with an unplaced effort, beaten 4 lengths, over 1200m on turf at this track. Plenty of scope for improvement. KABON KAPI (5) finished second last time over 1200m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Nicely placed to finish in the money. |

DAME OF FLAMES (4) improved last time out, finishing half a length from the winner in second at the end of 2000m at this track. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is one of the main chances. SAY YES (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 2000m at Fairview. Likely improver with strong top-three claims. |
