NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:50 DUNDEEL AT ARROWFIELD PLATE 1200m
Anticipating a stack of early pressure. Many of these come through a maiden won by Good Sort over 1250m here a fortnight ago. An eye-catching second in that race was RYBAKINA (9) who came from worse than midfield and only missed by a neck. Nicely drawn again and with the run under the belt looks the testing material. CINSAULT (2) started favourite in that race and had every chance after racing on the speed but couldn't hold out the first couple. Has now placed 4/4 and should be thereabouts again. SHE CONQUERS (10) created a good impression on debut recently when she worked home powerfully for third over 1000m at Kembla. Will be hard to hold out over this more suitable trip. First starters RETAINER (7) and EXTREMELY HARDYS (5) are trialling well for powerful stables and must be respected.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Rybakina.
2 01:25 DRINKWISE PLATE 1200m
Khaznah to take charge ahead of Oh Diamond Lil at a solid tempo. KHAZNAH (6) made it six minor placings from six career starts when she led but found one better over 1250m here a fortnight back. The decision to add blinkers deep into her maiden prep suggests she is going well and still has more to offer. Great chance to break through. MARACAIBO SUN (2) is back from a 23-week break. Finished less than a length from the winner on debut over this course and distance before suffering heat stress at his only other run. Ideally drawn and is capable of making an immediate impact. OH DIAMOND LIL (8) quickened nicely on debut last start at Hawkesbury. Should run well again over this slightly longer journey. That looks to be it for chances, with WARRIOR PRINCESS (9) and the first starter BEAUTY EDGE (1) the best of the others.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Khaznah to break through.
3 02:00 PAULELE @ DARLEY HANDICAP 1550m
The speedy O'ziggy should find the front comfortably. UTOPIAN WINE (5) blew the start and failed to recover when resuming over 1300m at Kembla recently. Recorded a career-high figure when successful second-up last prep over 1600m at Gosford. Can bounce back in a race knocked about by some key scratchings. DARK GLITTER (9) has struggled of late but does go well for Molly Bourke who is back aboard. Chances of late have been hampered by getting too far back so this small field suits. Likely improver. Probable leader O'ZIGGY (4) is back sharply in trip but he should dictate cannot be ruled out with the blinkers back on. AUTUMNMATION (8) has campaigned successfully in Brisbane this prep. Waller has found a thin race for her return home so another big run will not surprise. Not keen on the rest, headed by EYEQUE (10).  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Utopian Wine.
4 02:35 PRECISE AIR HANDICAP 1250m
Genuine tempo with the speedy Prophet's Pride leading the way. LLANDDWYN (5) found the line with gusto again last start over 1100m at Warwick Farm, making up a few lengths to get up for third. Cherry ripe after three runs back from a spell and the step up in distance is ideal. Great chance to make it 2/2 at this track and distance. NICCI'S GEM (11) stalked the pace then closed well but just missed when resuming over 1200m at Wyong last time out. Genuine mare who led all the way to score at Hawkesbury second-up last prep. Sure to give a great sight. DIAMOND MODEL (1) went back from a wide alley before charging home late to miss by a neck over this course and distance recently. Fitter for two runs in and looks a serious threat back against the mares. Lightly raced filly MERCHANT LADY (10) did a good job first-up at Newcastle and cannot be underestimated. KITTY CHAT (7) is back from a six-month break. Defeated Llanddwyn first-up last prep so she must be considered.  SUGGESTED PLAY: This looks a nice race for Llanddwyn.
5 03:10 JAMES SQUIRE HANDICAP 1250m
Plenty of early pace to be established by French Marine and Silentsar. AMNESTY (6) led clearly but caved in late to finish midfield last start over this course and distance. Strips fitter after two runs back from a spell and her best figures measure up favourably. SILENTSAR (4) is back from a 21-week absence. Opened last prep with a solid third in a Magic Millions race over 1200m at Wyong. Recent trial winner who is a big hope out of the inside alley. FRENCH MARINE (10) is a consistent gelding but the wins don't come around often. Made it three straight minors when edged out over 1315m at Coffs Harbour most recently. Missed by a whisker at Warwick Farm the run prior so he is up to this grade. Must be respected. The consistent OAKFIELD DUKE (3) ran on well in a similar race to this 23 days ago. Might be the big improver with blinkers on for the first time. YASUKE (5) is back from a nine-month spell and a has been gelded. The shades go on so there is plenty of interest around this Waller runner.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Amnesty gets the verdict in an even race.
6 03:45 TAB HANDICAP 1100m
No Statement, Blue Grotto and Rahni Factor to battle for the early lead at a slick tempo. POKERJACK (10) hasn't been too far away at his last couple, including a 1.6 length fourth to the smart Fleetwood over this distance at Warwick Farm two back. The wide gate is a small concern but his best form stacks up nicely in this company. CHIEF CONDUCTOR (5) caught the eye when resuming over 1000m at Randwick last time out, coming from last and quickening well in the heavy conditions to finish fifth. Has a good second-up record and this is his pet trip. Ticks plenty of boxes. RAHNI FACTOR (11) returned from an 11-month break with a closing second in an open sprint at Kempsey a fortnight ago. Honest mare with each-way claims. Victorian visitor DIRECT (1) wasn't far behind the in-form Mrs Chrissie at Sandown last time when coming off a seven-week break. Definite contender. OCEANS ONE (8) has placed 2/2 at this course and distance and will be nearing peak fitness third-up.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Pokerjack each-way in a challenging race for punters.
7 04:20 ALL TOO HARD @ VINERY STUD HANDICAP 1550m
Genuine pace headed by The Little Pumper who should kick up along the paint. Lightly raced mare SHE'S UNUSUAL (12) returned from a 24-week break with a resounding win in a Class 1 over 1400m at Newcastle last start. That performance was easily the best of her four to date so she is back in great order. Can go to this next level. THE CREATOR (1) registered his third win from the last four outings when comfortably home as favourite over this course and distance a fortnight ago. That followed a seven-week let-up so he can improve off that effort. Gets in well after the claim so another win is on the cards. THE LITTLE PUMPER (3) led but couldn't hold out The Creator here last time. Meets him worse at the weights but he does strip fitter after three runs back. Nash taking over is a positive. ALL IN THE MIND (4) charged home late to grab second when resuming from a 16-month break over this course and distance last start. Sure to kick on with that run out of the way. ENOTIS (6) resumes. Unbeaten at this distance and goes well fresh so keep him safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: She's Unusual gets the nod but the top five picks are all genuine hopes.
