Tricky one to map with a large contingent of first starters but over this trip there is certain to be plenty of early pressure. PLAZA (3) nice filly improving with racing. STARDEEL (8) two-year-old colt by Dundeel from Alta Stella on debut for the Baker yard. Has shown a ton of speed in his two trials and gets his chance from the good gate. OH DIAMOND LIL (2) three-year-old filly by So You Think out of Rare Diamond on debut for the Pfieffer yard. Has shown ability in a handful of trials and sure to be strong late. HYPERBOLIC (9) two-year-old filly by Proisir out of Piazza on debut for the Widdup stable. Trained on the track and won a recent trial over 1000m at Hawkesbury on June 3. Gets her chance from the inside gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hard to split Plaza and Stardeel. |
