Sky Racing QTIS Three-Years-Old Maiden Handicap 1300m
Genuine pace headed by Sailor's Rum from his wide gate. SAILOR'S RUM (1) is unlucky to still be a maiden finishing runner-up in both outings when last in work and strikes a very winnable contest here first run in the region. Revved up for this with two strong Rockhampton trial wins and should be ready to shed the maiden tag now. FLYING MAPLE (13) just missed the placings when resuming and will strip fitter for that hit-out. Has placed over this track and trip and looms as the main danger. MOON OVER MATILDA (7) is first-up here but did show enough when last in work to warrant consideration in a race like this. Top-three contender while fresh. SILVERADO MISS (4) has been thereabouts in all three starts to date and looks one for the multiples. SHE'SGOTACCESS (9) next in line from the Birchley barn. Pace sure to be genuine from Such A Whit and Murrajong Road matching motors, closely followed by Castile. MURRAJONG ROAD (7) has been in red-hot form this preparation with two wins and two seconds from just four outings and has won twice over this course and distance. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and rates the testing material. The well-related I SAY BOOM (8) (half to 6xG1 winner Chautauqua) has hit a purple patch of form of late and is racing with a lot of confidence. Nicely placed to bring up the hat-trick. CLASS OF ROYALTY (3) is yet to miss a drum in five starts over this track and trip and always has to be considered. Top-three credentials. ACROPHOBIC (4) strips fitter third-up from the spell and may earn some minor money. CASTILE (5) next in line. SUGGESTED PLAY: Murrajong Road to continue the strong form. |

Will be at his peak now fourth-up from the spell, draws low and gets some weight off with the claim. Ticks plenty of boxes. CUMIN SPINNER (14) has been right there in all four starts since joining the new stable and the step-up in trip should suit. Cannot be ignored. BOLD ROUGE (13) will find this a touch easier than recent efforts and is another to get some decent weight relief. In the mix. Solid pace with Knowitall Jack finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. Looks a wide-open affair. Former Victorian ROC DE RUSSIAN (2) has placed two from three here since joining the new stable and may be ready for the 1560m journey now. Gets the services of Butler in the irons and should be going very close. BLUE VELVET (7) is a very consistent conveyance who doesn't know how to run a bad race. Will be ready to peak now fourth-up. EXCITE CHOO (5) broke the maiden status here last time out and is sure to have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. In the mix. KNOWITALL JACK (1) loves this track and trip with two wins and two seconds from just four attempts. Has to be included. SUGGESTED PLAY: Roc De Russian to win. |

VIENNAWAITSFORYOU (6) resumes here but the form she put together before the spell was full of merit and winning hoop Stanley sticks in the saddle. Revved up for this with a recent Rocky trial and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. BUSH DIAMOND (2) is an honest campaigner who is yet to miss the top-five in eight career outings and is one from one over this course and distance. Drawn to get across easily from gate two and will give backers a sight. BOLD COMIC (1) strips fitter third-up, draws the inside marble and gets 4kg off with the claim. Plenty to like. Gets 3kg off with the claim and can bounce right back to form here. Former NSW galloper WANDJINA SPIRIT (5) is back from a decent spell but showed plenty of ability down south and may run a big race while fresh. SHEEZALITTLETORQUE (11) loves this sprint journey with a win and a second from just two attempts and is drawn to get a cosy run in transit from the inside alley. Top-three candidate. RUBY SPARKLES (7) got the job done here last time out and can make her presence felt again from the low draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sensationabull to win. |

SINGLE MEMO (11) goes well for Stanley who has a win and a placing from three steers and should be near her peak now fourth-up from a spell of over a year. No reason why she cannot find winning ways again. BARNEY RABBLE (10) has looked handy in all three runs since joining the new stable including placing over this course and distance last time out. Nicely placed to feature in the outcome. LILY ALLEZ (8) has won over this track and trip and gets 2kg off from the low draw. Right in this.
