NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:40 WIDDEN STUD CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE 2300m
San Gavino should lead and control the tempo. ALPINE KANDY (8) nice return over the 1600m when finished off strongly to secure third at Goulburn on May 24. Form out of that race has since been franked and will keep improving as he gets out in trip. Go close. SPECIAL DAY (6) holding her form well and a win looks imminent. Thereabouts again when third at Wyong over 2000m on June 13. This looks easier and no excuses here. SAN GAVINO (11) lightly raced filly jumping in trip at just her third race start. Stuck on well when a plugging sixth over 1600m at Tamworth on May 21. Distance won't be a problem and not to be underestimated. RAPID IMPACT (3) stepping out at this track for the first time. Last appeared when he finished sixth over 1900m at Canterbury on May 29. Didn’t fire last start but is capable of better.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 8,6,11,3.
2 01:20 PIRTEK MUSWELLBROOK COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN PLATE 1450m
Without a noted leader engaged Conversations may cross from wide out and take it up. MISSILE LOVE (9) racing well and a win looks imminent. Powered late from the wide draw when a close-up second over 1300m at Dubbo on June 7. Backs-up quickly and looks ready for the 1400m now. Go close. READ 'EM AND WEEP (10) improving mare with an okay record this track and trip. Covered ground and showed plenty of fight when a plugging fourth over 1400m at Gunnedah on May 26. This looks easier and looks to have solid each way claims. SUNSET PANORAMA (12) mixed her form up at her last three runs and gets in light again with the 4kg claim. Strong through the line late when second over 1300m at Scone on June 11. Maps well and has the numbers to take this out. SILVER ON GOLD (11) only the three career runs and will find this much easier after resuming with a poor 11th over 1100m at Hawkesbury on May 23. Well drawn with the claim and improvement is expected.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Missile Love to win.
3 01:55 HUNTER THOROUGHBRED BREEDERS ASSOC. MAIDEN HANDICAP 1000m
Plenty of pace with Demandingsarah and Sapphire Kiss leading. UMABETT (6) Better Than Ready filly resuming from a lengthy break after finishing sixth in the G3 Gimcrack Stakes at Randwick over 1000m on September 30. Further matured now and had two trials in readiness for this. Gets her chance in this easier class with the claim. MY MATE COBBER (12) resumed with an encouraging third over 900m at Newcastle on May 25. Fitter now and has an okay record over this track and trip. SAPPHIRE KISS (3) near her top now and a win looks imminent. Sat on the speed and showed plenty of fight when fourth over 1200m at Wyong on June 6. Must be kept safe on the quick turnaround. PHAZED (5) fitter after two runs for the Neasham yard and back in trip for this after running seventh in a 1300m contest at Hawkesbury on May 30. Can sneak into the minor money.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,12,3,5.
4 02:35 TAB.COM.AU COUNTRY BOOSTED CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1280m
Not too much pace in this low-pressure affair. THIRTEEN UNDER (5) handy gelding resuming with a solid record. Got off the mark at start 10 at Mudgee over 1200m on February 25. Fitted with a soft trial and looks primed for this from the good draw. SOARING PHOENIX (3) raced in tougher company last time in and returned in good order with a gritty third over 1200m at Moree on June 4. In leading country stable and gets her chance from the good gate. FIORSUM FRED (1) fitter after three runs back and lone win came at this track. Big jump in grade when eighth over 1250m at Canterbury on June 10. Can bounce back here. SMART JAZZ (7) best performance for some time when he rattled late to finish third over 1250m at Taree on May 27. Rolls keeps the ride and has the numbers to figure prominently.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,3,1,7.
5 03:10 DK HEAVY PLANT MECHANICS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1280m
Solid tempo with several going forward. HE IS THE KISS (11) holding his form well and due for a change of luck. Stalked the good tempo when a fighting third over 1200m at Moree on June 4. Regular rider back on and has the numbers to take this out. BUBBLES AND CAVIAR (9) disappointed in stronger company this time in and gets some nice weight relief with the claim today. Expected to improve sharply here. LOST ILLUSIONS (3) showed ability last time in over further and resumes from a spell of four-and-a-half months. Has placed first-up and since fitted with two searching 1000m trials. Betting best guide from the low draw. REBELLION STYLE (4) returns from a let-up and is likely to add some value, if he can improve on his Newcastle performance.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 11,9,3,4.
6 03:45 F.A.S.T. FIRE PROTECTION BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1280m
Strong early tempo likely with several going forward, headed by Nazare's Impact and Wine Time. EQUIVOCAL (8) lightly raced mare resuming from a lengthy break. Shed her maiden status at Port Macquarie at fifth race start and spelled after having no luck from the draw when eighth over 1400m at Newcastle on June 10 last year. Fitted with two trials and looks to get her chance from the inside gate. STORMY PLUCK (13) ploughed through the heavy (10) going when a solid third over 1300m at Dubbo on June 7. Backs-up quickly and can play a leading role again in this form. NAZARE'S IMPACT (4) looked good when winning two-back at Tuncurry, before jumping in class when a fading 11th over 1100m at Gosford in a BM64 on May 16. Kept fresh and can return to form. Has a good record here. SUCCESSFUL (7) has been solid in two runs following a spell. Most recently finished 1.75 lengths away in fourth three-and-a-half weeks ago over 1200m at Goulburn. Ready to peak at the third run in. Don't underestimate.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 8,13,4,7.
7 04:20 BENGALLA CUP SUNDAY 28 JULY BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 1450m
Solid tempo anticipated with Code In Time heading them off. CODE IN TIME (1) holding his form well for the Neasham yard and can bounce back in this easier contest from the good gate. Worked hard with the 59.5kg when seventh over 1300m at Kembla Grange on June 4. Extra distance suits and will take plenty of stopping. BANGETTA (5) placed this track and trip and fitter after three runs back. Made up good ground late from well back when fifth over 1400m at Taree on May 27. Will be powering late. BORROWED LUCK (12) trained on the track and looks close to another victory. Senior rider on here and will need plenty of luck from the wide gate. Has the numbers to run into the placings. SHOWBOAT (11) genuine type who finished eighth at his latest appearance over 1500m at Kembla Grange. In a suitable race and is one of the chances.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Code In Time to win.
