HEZA MAGIC MAN has been found wanting at his last couple of runs over longer trips but can atone back to this distance today. Placed in a BM64 at Mornington over this trip three runs back carrying the same weight as today. If he emulates that performance he should be very competitive. KURGAN finished a close 2nd over this course and distance two starts back then struggled at the mile last time out. Better placed here at his favourite track and with any luck from the poor gate is sure to be thereabouts. DRY BISCUIT placed twice in succession to kick off this prep then failed at a mile last start when the blinkers came off. The gear goes straight back on today. Looks a chance at this trip and back to this grade. BACK IN A FLASH and CERUTTY are not without a chance in a tough finale. SUGGESTED PLAY: Supporting Heza Magic Man each way. Needs luck but rates the one.
