Finished third two back over 1100m at Hawkesbury then raced closer to the speed and tired last time out over this trip at Newcastle. Draws a good gate for a change and in this company looks the testing material. EASEMENT (5) returns from a seven-month spell and is now with local trainer Greg Backhouse. Showed ability last time in work and should go well. BATTLE FLEET (7) is a new acquisition for the Natalie Jarvis yard and is fresh from a four-month lay-off. Around the mark at all three runs last prep in Victoria. Worth plenty of thought. Rubick debutante RUBILACE (8) gapped her rivals in a recent Kembla trial. Interesting to see if any money comes.
