MY BEST SHOT (6) was an easy winner when shedding his maiden tag over this distance on the turf last time. He set the pace, found another kick and won with plenty left in the tank. If suited to the polytrack surface,he can follow up with another victory. WIND SOCK (5) has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. He has won once and finished second three times from nine starts over this distance. Has each-way claims. PASHTUNWALI (1) made progress on recent efforts when finishing sixth last start at this track. Keep safe. SCAMPTON (4) finished out of the money two starts back then finished eighth over 1400m at Scottsville a month ago. This is a nice drop in grade and he looks well placed to return to form.
