Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Kashino Perles. D S PROOF (2) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing fourth over 1400m at this track last start. Shoma Kanayama goes well on this seven-year-old and is back on top today. Well placed and should be in the finish. KASHINO PERLES (10) got home by 4 lengths last time out over 1400m at this track. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Likely to feature. STRONG CURRENT (3) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a second most recently over 1750m at this track when beaten a neck. Toru Takeyoshi has registered four minor placings when on board. Should be involved in the finish. DANHO KILLER (9) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 1400m at this track when beaten 6 lengths. Record here is impressive with six wins from 16 starts. Not to be discounted.
