---|---|---|---|---|
Tricky one to map with a large contingent of first starters but over this trip there is certain to be plenty of early pressure. Locally trained COMB OVER CON (1) is back after a six-month break. Worked home well to finish runner-up when fresh from a spell last prep over 1080m on the Canberra Acton. Consistent gelding who is a great chance to break through. MIGHTY MYRTLE (13) last appeared when a game second on debut over this distance at Canberra in December. In good hands and is sure to come back bigger and better this prep. GOOD PRIZE (3) met with market support and did a reasonable job to hold on for fourth when facing the starter for the first time recently over this trip at Canberra. Big chance with a bit of luck from the wide alley. GRINS (11) debuted last start and finished just ahead of Good Prize. Also needs luck from the draw but cannot be ruled out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Comb Over Con to win first-up.
