Solid pace likely with Knotted Cord prominent along with Riko Luger crossing from an outside gate. RIKO LUGER (12) returns from a break of four months. Strung together two wins before finishing sixth at the last run of the prep at this track. Has a solid first-up record. Good effort at the start of last prep to score over 1200m at Monbetsu. One of the big chances. UN TRESOR (1) improved last time out, finishing 1.3 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1600m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MIYUKI THE STRONG (10) has been safely held at his last two starts, the latest when eighth over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Does enjoy some weight relief this time. Big class drop today and can atone. HAPPY SPIRAL (7) was in contention on the bend and finished third last time over 1600m at this track, beaten 0.7 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Suitably placed so anticipating another good run.
