Fiftysevenyears should be able to comfortably find the front. EL AMIGOS (4) has been in good recent form, closing well late for second at Mt Gambier over 2050m two starts back before getting the better of Jimmy Manolo late to win nicely over this course and distance last start. Drawn a soft barrier and can win again. JIMMY MANOLO (6) ran well behind El Amigos and meets that gelding 1.5kg better off at the weights this time. From a good draw he gets his chance to turn the tables. HIS ZEDNESS (3) relished stepping up in distance last start when a dominant maiden winner and it would be no surprise to see him go on with it and make his presence felt here. FIFTYSEVENYEARS (2) stuck on well and wasn't beaten far when sixth at Kyneton over 1856m last start. Expect he can give a good sight. KEEVS (5) might be better over even further but at his best he's capable of figuring. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with El Amigos to win again.
