Should be a strong tempo from the outset with plenty of go-forward types engaged. HAROLD THE DUKE (8) looks close to another win following a last start second of 13 over 2000m. He should have no issues with the rise to 2200m and if getting away to a clean start should prove hard to beat. PUERTO PLATA (2) is a winner of his last two starts. He should like the rise to 2200m. He does have a wide draw of 12 to overcome but he gets the services of Richard Fourie who will give him all the necessary assistance needed from the saddle. Looks well placed to complete a hat-trick. GREAT AFFAIR (5) ran a good race when finishing third of eight last start. With luck in the running after jumping from the widest draw should be figuring in the finish. JUAN CARLOS (1) finished out of the money two starts back then ran ninth over 1900m at this track last start. He is better than his recent runs would suggest and is well worth an each-way ticket in this line-up.
