MEISHO NOBUKA (3) finished 5.5 lengths away in ninth last time out over 2000m at Fukushima when resuming from a spell as $4.1 favourite. Steps up in distance today. Backmarker who gets home hard. Best form puts her right in this. DANON CHROM (10) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished third, beaten 0.6 lengths, over 2400m at Hanshin. Ready to go a couple better. LAUREL CANYON (9) produced a better run last start, beaten 8 lengths into seventh over 2400m at Nakayama Dirt. Nicely placed to find some form.
