Has a handy gate and the prolific stable striker Maloney stays aboard. Fitter and is likely to handle the slow surface given he's starting. THE GAMBLING GREEK (8) draws just inside the above and debuts owning a Doomben trial win. Has the blinkers on and Jones sticks from the trial. A bold run is likely. THREE TEES (9) debuted on the heavy at Doomben and found a place bet $5. Has Orman today for Maloney and the gelding is sure to have come on. It's hard to risk the Gollan yard. I'M HEROIC (6) was nudged out in the same contest when expected to need the outing. He can build on that. LA COMETA (10) has Rodd and showed enough at Doomben on debut to consider at a price.
