Not a great deal of pressure likely in the small field, with Jasper Major a potential leader. JASPER MAJOR (1) made it three straight wins when resuming over 1200m at this track last start, getting home by a nose. Ryu Abe aboard again and expected to go very well. ALICE SPRINGS (6) was safely held in tougher grade two back then appreciated the easier grade last time when second over 1200m at this track. Rates strongly in this company and looks a leading player again. D S BOMBER (7) was prominent at the bend and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1800m here. Likely improver with bright prospects. MAKE THE WIND (3) was popular when resuming last start over 1200m at this track but finished fifth. Generally goes well with that run under the belt and can improve sharply here.
