ROI CHAMPAGNE (3) was in contention all the way and fought on for third last start over 1400m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Goes up a rung or two but he is worth serious consideration. MIKAZUKI (6) good effort last start when second over this distance at this track, beaten one length. Has a strong record this course, scoring at five of 10 starts. Must be respected. MITONO CHARMANT (7) scored two runs back then was well in commission last time but could only manage to finish fifth over the same trip at this track. Finds the right race this time and can find winning form.
