San Gregorio can lead with pressure. ZEZE ULATER gets back but his the line hard LS to just miss at Donald in a bit stronger. He gets the 2kg claim and his chance to break back to the winners list. AUGUSTA BELLE drops off stronger provincial races and Kah-Balfour are the hottest jockey-trainer partnership around. She’s well-placed. SAN GREGORIO is still a Maiden but has made the quinella his last two in country Victoria.
Pace only moderate where San Gregorio leads over Warradale and Augusta Belle. SAN GREGORIO is overdue for a win with two recent second placings. Was beaten a nose in maiden grade two back then was sound in this grade last time over further. Coming back in trip and although still eligible for maiden class looks hard to beat here. AUGUSTA BELLE has been thereabouts in recent runs. Will be on the speed throughout here and will find this easier. Gets chance to break through. ZEZE ULATER has been running on well, the latest narrowly beaten in this class. Will be winding up strongly. GRECIAN SPY looks next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Zeze Ulater with a close watch Augusta Belle.
